A great variety of food, lovely staff and nice decor. the “all you can eat” buffet is delicious and not costly.

My wife and I eat here every time we're in the Madinat Zayed shopping center. It's adjacent to the food court on the top floor, above LuLu Hypermarket. They have a regular menu, but I don't think that I've ever seen anyone order from it....The main attraction is the buffet. There aren't a *lot* of options, but what they have is very very good. I've tried to replicate their beef Kare Kare at home, but haven't managed to do it successfully. If you manage to leave the restaurant still hungry, then that's your own fault. Their target market seems to be Filipino residents living in Abu Dhabi, not tourists or luxury diners. As such, their prices are excellent and the food is probably closer to authentic than you'll find at places that deliberately cater to tourists. I love the kare- kare (Classic Filipino stew), one of the flagship dishes in the Philippines consisting of beef tripe, eggplant and Chinese veges. It has a strong peanut flavour served with shrimp paste ( bagoong) on the side. I can’t believe it’s taken me...20'sss years to try it and only here in Hot Palayok, Abu dhabi. Great Choices of filipino menus for affordable prices. I love their dessert selections. I got too excited with their fried eggplant & barbecue ( chicken intestine, beef liver, gizzards) live cooking station. The restaurant is spacious with classy decor. The lady manager was very accomodating...& friendly as always. The staff was very patient with us even if we moved tables before & after the meal. I hope in the future they will have good quality of tea & coffee. If you have small event they have a private room available with Karaoke.More

I always visit hot palayok in madinat zayed and because there is a new branch in WTC, Hamdan St. I went there to check if it the same. Well, as expected it is heaven to me as they offer buffet mostly Filipino food and delicacies...but they have i ternational food also like thai and indian food with a filipino twist of it. Thanks to Maria for a lovely greeting and assisting us in our table, the supervisor Jerson who is always on the run if we need something and for Melanie, Joker and Charmaine. Good choices and seafood, Casual dining and friendly staff. Charges are reasonable for the variety and quality including the dessert. My family had enjoyed their food and ambiance.

Me and my friend enjoyed our dinner in Hot palayok Abu Dhabi branch,especially the ramen soup made by chef Allan in live station area my friend love the siopao , and I love the crab sotanghon soup .. desserts as usual great. Definitely to comeback...and to recommend with friendsMore
