Gayatri Veg Culture is a vegetarian restaurant located in the market area. Somehow I felt that the place was past its prime though the restaurant was fully occupied. Some of the dishes were so spicy that they couldn’t be eaten!

Very known place for delicious veg. food. Service is very quick and food is quite tasty. Importantly main course we can order in half portion. I tried Manchow soup, masala papad, paneer tikka, kadi pakoda, dal tadke and paneer masala.

Food is very good and with a see through kitchen it makes an interesting ambience. The only drawback is it takes a long time for the food to come. The waiters need some motivation to work as they are tooooo slow.

Being a Mumbaikar I am used to decent clean spanky hotels with all kinds of fancy ambiences. But I land in Latur a small severely drought affected district.. which is well developed thanks to 15yrs of rule by local leader as CM of Maharashtra. Back...to restaurant up the staircase n you will imagine this resto as any of the same resto back in towns. But enter.. You will surprised by the cleanliness, staff management & best part is huge transparent kitchen just divided by a glass pane.. You can your food actually being tossed n turned n prepared by neat n clean local chefs. The food served was very fresh n best. Highly recommendMore

Being new to Latur, went there based on TA reviews. Expected thali meal, but wasn't there. Inside a lane in a crowded street. The restaurant is on the first floor, may trouble the physically challenged. Ambience is so so. We had roti, aloo mutter, carrot...halwa, rasagulla, pineapple raita. Taste didn't rise above the ordinary. Service is slow, waiters are polite. Cost for the items we ordered appeared high. May be a hit with the locals, but may not allure a visitor to Latur.More

Mix of quick service, good food and ambience. And while Maharashtrain food is supposed to be pretty spicy, they serve less spicy food too. The pricing too is just about right. All in all, a good place where we ate to our heart's content.
