We have been first time in Oasis 25 years ago and after that every year. Last time in february! Taverana Oasis is good local taverna, where you can get "home made" local food. All ingredients are organic, like vegetables, olives, olive oil, raki. ect. The...service is friendly! Greetings from Jussi & Ansa, FinlandMore

This was the worst meal we have had in Crete by some way. We stopped for lunch. Menu looked OK. We ordered a Greek salad, tzatziki, stuffed vine leaves and grilled chicken and fried potatoes. The service was incredibly slow and we waited over 30...minutes for the salad, bread and tzatziki, this was even more annoying as we could see it waiting on the kitchen counter to he served for 20 minutes. Vine leaves were OK but the chicken was poor - overcooked, grisly and very very salty & dry with very little actual edible chicken. Will not be going back and would definitely not recommend.More

Unbelievable that four of us had less than tasty dishes and small portions. The goat dish just bones and fat. We told the owner of our displeasure and she walked away and did nothing. The bill came with no discount.

Ate here three nights running, we so enjoyed everything that they served that we didn't have to look elsewhere! Very friendly owners, really tasty and good value basic Greek food. We would highly recommend a visit.

Better find something else. Not really bad, souvlaki was ok, greek salad as well, nothing special, saganaki could be better, a lot better, french fries was bad. Nice house white wine though. Prices normal. Easy to find, on the way to the Zaros lake, very...town centre, situated right at the road, lots of heavy trucks and motorbikes, which is another minus. Otherwise very friendly and helpful staff, working wi-fi, clean toiletes. Still would recommend eating someplace else. Many better options, even though if this is not a completely bad restaurant, but next time would find something better for this price.More

We stopped in for a late lunch after a drive & a gorge walk. The menu was basic but with all of the Greek standards. They also had trout from the nearby lake. A Greek salad & pork souvlaki hit the spot nicely. We were...the only customers @ 3pm. It is right on the busy main drag so it was a bit noisy but that also made it entertaining.More
