A beautiful, neat and clean cafe to have a stop while you are driving to chikmagluru. It is having all snack options including Mcain nuggets. Washrooms are good. Taste of food is satisfying. The sights around the place is also beautiful while it rains
On the way from Mangalore Airport to Chikmangalur on 24th April 18 we had a halt for Snacks and Drinks at Fresh Bean Cafe. The palce is attached to Petrol pump. We had Set Dosa (Yummy), Club Sandwich (Good Felling), Cold Coffee and above all...was the Ginger Tea - Yes Tea in land of Coffee the Tea for me (tea lover) was amazing. The Place is not too expensive very affordable. The view is nice and we had reached around 2pm and it was drizzling. There are more Restaurant around this place but we loved this joint.More
The open air cafe is overlooking a coffee plantation! A very beautiful and pleasant experience! We had Coffee there which was very good! The toilets were clean and the staff was very friendly.
Visit here regularly for a break while driving. Excellent place for a break after driving up the charmadi ghats. Clean restrooms.

Since I first reviewed the Fresh Bean Cafe, it is now a prominent pit stop soon after ascending the Charmadi Ghat. The parking is organised and the sit-out has protection against the rain. As you sip your coffee and enjoy your snacks, your eyes gaze...at the misty hills. The washrooms at a discrete corner are a blessing to the traveller. the ramp makes it accessible for the tired or aged traveller too.More
It is great place to eat while enjoying the amazing views and fresh air. Sandwiches (Mushroom and egg) were amazing and lemon coriander was too good. Overall a great place to refresh over a long drive.
Calm and Serene. This was the first CCD to be started in Kolar.. There is a new one that is started of late as well. Both of them provide the same service. But I would prefer this location as it has other options to choose.....Like Maiyas.. Adigas. Polar bear.More
The Fresh Bean Cafe is located 3 kms further from Kottegahara as you drive up the Charmadi ghat from Mangalore/Dharmasthala direction. Located beside the Petrol Station, the Cafe has a ramp access and one of the cleanest washrooms when motoring within southern India. There is...a limited selection of snacks, sandwiches and typical Indo-Chinese fare (read noodles, fried rice etc) besides rejuvenating coffee and tea. You can also purchase freshly ground and packed coffee sourced from the plantation nearby.More
