Wow! We've just had the couple's pack for $32 - we chose the crumbed fish in the pack. Awesome value, so generous with the portion size and crunchy - just beautiful

If there's anything you need with your fish and chips, it's GOOD chips! And the staff at Migaloos certainly delivered. The crumbed cod we had was ok too but I do give them top marks for their chips. The outlook was very pleasant too.
Came here for something to eat after being in a long car journey and it was great! The staff were friendly and collecting at the side window for us was super easy and convenient! Really tasty fish and chips and wide selection of drinks!
Bought fish & chips and a large Greek salad. The LARGE salad contained many olives but only one (1) and two bare half (1/2) pieces of feta cheese. Very disappointing for a salad costing $8.90. The fish was watery, as if it had been from...a frozen packet. For vinegar on the chips, we had to pay $1. We had breakfast there 2 years ago & it was excellent. It has clearly changed hands.More
The fish and chips were so good. It’s sometimes difficult to find good crumbed fish but this was really yummy. The fish was fresh, the crumb tasty and it wasn’t dripping in oil. The battered fish was also really good too. I also liked that...they sold chicken salt separately for 50 cents as I like that and my husband likes plain salt. We just got no salt and did it our own ways at home. We also like their homemade (I think) tartare sauce. The service was great also. The lady who served us was friendly and it didn’t take long for our order to be ready.More
When l took our meal back they were not happy. I explained why and even showed them what was wrong with. I ended up getting my money back but was told l was rude and they had never had anyone take back there meal. There...are 42 reviews here that say the food was terrible l totally agree now.More
We ordered a pack of fish and chips each only to find they were really large serves, one pack would have done us. It was well cooked and very nice and cheap at the price.
Be aware....this business has changed from a coffee shop to a "Seafood Market". Most the ratings relate to the old business. I am a local and thought I should support my local business....and hadn't tried its fare since it changed its mode. Can I just...say they had their chanc!! The fish was tainted by something totally discusting, (eg bad fish), the calamari was nice texture and not overcooked but oil was rancid....and the chips were edible(bonus). I was just so sorry I even ordered this meal. I won't again!More
One of the few places where battered oysters reign!! Friendly smiling staff - we will return on our next trip to Hervey Bay!
We had serves of the grilled Barramundi and Red Emperor with a small chips and it was so delicious that we went back for another serving of the same a few days later. Highly recommended!
I wasn't going to even write a review for this horrible place but after seeing them try to publicly humiliate some one on their advertising tv I have to. Got lunch here and asked for a burger with no pickles and for some reason couldn't...accommodate for that. Over priced burger with a tiny patty. Over priced small serving of chips. Horrible people who are just cranky and rude. Any business that behaves the way this one does should be shut down.More
Fantastic food . Great location. Great staff. It’s undergoing a renovation at the moment. Can’t wait for it to reopen
I regularly go to Migaloo's for breakfast, catch ups and lunch. Great location, service and good value food .
Wow what a gem this cute cafe is!! We stayed overnight in Hervey Bay and in the morning we came across this adorable cafe right behind the pier! We ordered 2 x big breakfasts and we weren’t disappointed but ecstatic! Perfect cooked eggs, crisp tasty...bacon (generous serve) , chip plate sausages, tomato whole, mushrooms were AMAZING!! Plus 2 thick slices of sourdough toast plus large cappuccinos. All up $50 for everything and worth every cent. View from tables towards the bay and pier! Highly recommend to everyone 💜More
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and a menu. The staff were friendly and very professional. Food was beautiful and definitely loved my pancakes. (Presentation could not be faulted). What a lovely experience and congratulations to the owners for...offering such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.More
