Reeds is fine dining at very reasonable prices. Nice ambiance, with space between the tables to allow you to hear your dining companions. A limited selection but none the worse for that. The food is freshly cooked and first class. We had the soup followed by steaks which were done to perfection. No room for dessert but these looked good... More

Well designed small restaurant with attractive space to relax before eating. Small but varied menu, each dish we ate was also tastefully prepared, without gimmicks or excess, just quality at a reasonable price, calmly served.

We live locally and are always looking for good eateries and this is up there with the best at a price that is unmatched for the quality. Unfortunately, it lacks atmosphere and if their not busy you feel like you are being pushed out of the door so they can switched the lights off and lock up.

In a tiny village like Colford one does not expect to find a high quality dining experience and certainly not at such good prices. Sadly not open every day.

Tracey the chef offers excellent food at real value for money. Each meal is cooked to order and not a chip in sight only fresh vegetables beautifully cooked.

Meal was bang on time, cooked exactly as we asked (we're pretty fussy!) and beautifully presented. Host was most attentive but in no way obtrusive.

Really nice place for a treat, something slightly different than perhaps other venues in the area. Not a place to expect to have to hurry up.

We were staying at the hotel, of which this restaurant is an integral part, and it seemed natural to dine here on the 1st (Saturday) night. The food was very good, and reasonably priced: there's no a la carte, just a choice from a set menu. Sadly, the night we chose, the main thing which appealed to me on the... More
