It's a comfortable place, easily accessible, with great menu and good food. We got the special which was home made ravioli along with a pizza. Both were excellent!

Very lively atmosphere, it has the feel of a bar/dance place. With another tequila, I could have danced on the tables. Because I was having such a good time, I can't exactly remember what I ordered. It was melt in your mouth and delicious fish....More

A cozy restaurant tucked away just off the main road. The dishes are served tapas style, so it is easy to overdue it. Everything we tried was great. Can't go wrong at Jolly Roger.

Great restaurant run by friendly couple. Appetizers during happy hour are delicious and my 1 1/2 year old screams, "Pizzzza, pizzzzza!" as we drive up the road towards Jolly Roger.

Description
This is a newly constructed restaurant in Pavones offering an eclectic and very tasty mix of Italian, seafood and Costa Rican dishes. Decor is pseudo-pirate themed, with carved seats and benches and maps inscribed on the tables. We have fantastic fish dishes, sorted salads, main courses from mediterranean and italian area and a lot of different snacks plates (tapas). The owners, Agnese and Daniel, are working hard and well to offer an alternative to the usual Tico fare at a remote location like this.open from Monday to Saturday from noon to 10 pm closed on October and November
