In the middle od Goriška brda in Slovenia is a small town Medana with restaurant and hotel Belica. They have great food and many different vines.
What a treat to sit outside for lunch with a beautiful view. They serve their own wines. The meals were reasonably priced. Overall an enjoyable visit that we will not hesitate to recommend.
