In Paris you would pay several times more for this quality of food. And nothing speaks more loudly than the fact that this restaurant way out in the Jura countryside is always consistently booked. Whether it's fresh lake perch from Lake Geneva, locally-produced artisanal cheeses, beautiful desserts with seasonal fruits, or prepared game, I have been to this restaurant each... More

With a view of the beautiful snowy landscape we had a wonderful dinner served by a very attentive ‘apprenti’ waiter, supervised by the friendly manageress. We were happy to see that old traditions are not dead: we received fresh water and bread when we got seated. The dishes were delicious, prepared with local produce. Very good price for a lovely... Loved this hotel, functional, clean, quiet, easy parking and a perfect location for roadbiking in the region. Very hospitable staff, simple but good sized rooms. The restaurant was packed on Saturday night and for Sunday lunch, and we quickly understood why -- locals from the region drive up for a gastronomic menu -- lots of fresh vegetables served with the... Veal, beef, guinea fowl, tongue of veal, home made soups and desserts, fantastic choice if local cheeses, fondues etc. The set menus priced above the half board menu were probably better, but for the price we paid of €62 pp for room, breakfast and a four course dinner inclusive of wine was fantastic value.

Our wine trip this year include the Pre Fillet again. The hotel rooms have been refurbished, still in 'Swiss chalet' style but my room had a really generous shower stall, very well appointed. The rooms were bright and airy with wonderful views of the valley. The dining room continued to be excellent and the welcome warm. Logis have upgraded the... More

On our most recent visit we decided to try the excellent value weekday set lunch, a real bargain at €14 for four courses with wine and coffee. Our menu began with an adequate starter of chicken liver pâté (somewhat liverish and quite grainy) which was served with excellent fresh crusty 'farmhouse' bread and a dollop of fruity chutney. The main... More

As I'm living very to this hotel, I only test the restaurant. You may try It in confidence. English Customer may appreciate Frog legs and Beef Tongue. Jura wine is also very good but ask to have the right accordance meal and wine. TRY IT You'll love it.

This hotel was recommended to us by friends for a wine-tasting, walking and sight-seeing tour of the Jura. The hotel is situated in the high Jura in the commune of Les Molunes, which is a small but widespread collection of farms. It is fairly isolated and one ascends by car up good but winding mountain roads with quite spectacular views.... More

I thought that restaurants like these had disappeared from the Jura. The lunch was the best in a 10 day trip to the Jura and Dijon., I don't really want other people to know about this place but it deserves recognition. Fair prices even on an Easter weekend, local produce cooked to perfection and wine list that has stunning selection... More
