Really liked this spot. Restaurant was comfy and cosy, server was attentive and helpful. Food was really good. We all had something different and everyone enjoyed it. Oh, one person's plate came very cool and they took it back and hotted it up, no problem. All was resolved.

The food was delicious and the restaurant was such a nice intimate atmosphere. Had the pork feature of the day and loved it! The quality meals were worth the price and I'd definitely go back!

Atmosphere and decor is modern and dinner music is just right mix. A nice change from some of the louder restaurants that have been popping up in Saskatoon. Our meal was cooked perfectly and the service was a great mix of attentiveness without being to much. Would definitely return again.

Decided to make a quick trip to Stoon from Regina. Booked a reservation with Jason. Got there and was welcomed with open arms. Subtle music in the back ground , very romantic, very quaint. Only a few others in the restaurant, was offered a supper special, salmon steak for my date and I had the filet mignon. Sooo good! Had... More

Ricotta gnocchi was an appetizer special and very good. Nothing special with the salad. Chipotle salmon was excellent, coleslaw had absolutely no taste (left it in the plate) and the veggies equalled what I make at home. Shared a dessert... triple chocolate... was an exceptional small serving. Waiter very knowledgeable about the food and wine ... however I believe he... More

This is my wife and my favorite restaurant in Saskatoon. We love the ambiance which is quiet and nice mellow dinner music playing. The food is quite tasty. The staff is very pleasant.

Historic charm! From outside and most ofthe inside it looks like a hundred years old building ! Some renovations inside! The spiral staircase brings a beautiful accent to the whole place. Pretty quite and classy! Now comes the food! Its COSTLY! And the quality is not that good! Also poor portion size ! I did not understand why the cost... More

I have heard about this place for a while. We went on a cold January night. The place was empty. The food was average. The wine selection was reasonable. The waiter clearly knew the menu and the food. He was friendly and informative. I don't think I would rush back, but if a friend suggested it I would go with... More

Quiet, great ambience, good service. An excellent restaurant if you want to have conversation. The food is okay, but not at their prices. My partner's steak did not have much flavour. Same with the salmon I had. Go for dessert and coffee maybe.

Description
The Bistro is a small locally owned and operated restaurant, in a historic 1906 building in the heart of downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Using locally sourced ingredients when available, dishes are inspired by our love of travel. In the summer months, watch for our Bistro rooftop garden vegetables and herbs. Our little garden started out as a few pots of herbs and tomatoes. Now, it has grown to include edible flowers, heirloom tomatoes, beans, peppers, lettuces, and so much more.
