Views of the lake, unique menu, excellent wine. Definitely a step above when it comes to lunch. The menu choices were excellent. Bison Burger (Willow burger) was excellent and everyone at our table sampled and complimented. Also excellent and unique was the Mushroom Bolognese. Definitely...More

The food was less than impressive. The fish had bones in it the dessert tasted like burnt cinnamon. The waitress was not very knowledgeable and didn’t seem to care to much about the fact we didn’t touch the dessert at all. When told about the...More

We are regulars at this restaurant for many reasons. We are treated as family and invariably need time to catch up with Amanda and Chris on arrival. The food has always been great, but chef Tim has taken it to another level over the past...More

I asked if the item I ordered could be altered into a "vegan version" and without hesitation, the chef knew exactly what to do to accommodate my request! That's what I call custom service!

I brought my husband here for the dining in the dark event. This is where they turn off all the lights and let you really experience your food with your other senses. When we got there they gave us a glass of champagne while they...More

Very well located, view on the sunset is amazing. Nice environment inside the restaurant, well maintained. Outside at the deck is refreshing by end day, but need to take care about wasps in this time. Food is great, served in good proportions. Good beverage and...More

The view from outdoor deck is nice. Unfortunately , that was the best part of the restaurant. Wine list was lovely. Waiter was very educated on menu. I had the chicken, which was pretty blah. My party also had a steak which was tough, noodle...More

Just passing through Regina at lunchtime we found The Willow on the Wascana River. A delightful spot on the river. Creative gourmet food. One of us enjoyed a Canadian lake fish called Pickerel, while the other had a delicious Leek and Potato soup with Crisp...More

Was passing through Regina and stopped to visit some old friends. Suggestion was to go have supper at an upscale restaurant on the waterfront. First sight was not impressing me at all. Small entrance and patrons sitting around in their athletic wear. Really !! My...More

The Willow on Wascana has been a part of Regina life since 2004. We pride ourselves on the amazing and quite surprising bounty this great province has to offer. From every grain under the sun to the most flavorful vegetables you have ever tasted. We even have fresh fruit growing in the valley. The willow has worked very hard with countless families and individuals skilled in the art form known as farming. From our major meat supplier, Pine View Farms in Osler supplying us with an array of all farm animals. Our wild boar family Schneider Farm just 15 minutes outside of Regina. Local eggs, local flour and now even a local cheese artist. Our amazing produce from Heliotrope Farm in Craven, you name it chances are they grow it. All these great things we enjoy so much and transform into our own culinary masterpieces, and just picked fresh right out of the backyard. From Farm to Table, let's face it, that's the way it should be. Cheers, Chef Tim Davies
