Stopped by the Mathilde Express. Not worth the money for what you get. The only reasonable price is the pogo. Watch what you pay for due to the language barrier.

The food was great and the menu had a wide variety to chose from. The staff was very nice and the live music created an extremely positive atmosphere. Reservations are recommended as it gets crowded very early.
This is the best restaurant in Tadoussac, reservations are highly recommended. We had the 5 course chef menu with beautiful crab, fish and bison dishes. We had a very nice evening sat outside and watching the sunset.
We enjoyed a very tasty dinner at Chez Mathilde. All entrees were delicious and our server was very pleasant and helpful. It was busy in town, so reservations were needed.

We had a nice late meal here in early July; great service, great cheese board, great salads. Nice jazz music playing on some nights. If you're looking for great French food on the way up the north side of the St. Lawrence, don't miss Tadoussac.
