I have been to this place twice this week, and i have to say the choice und quality in seafood 🦞 is excellent.
The service was excellent.
Since i am visiting in Sherbrook I will be going once more
We had dinner at Brasserie after 2 5 hours drive. We made table reservation upfront for 5 PM. It was not busy but we wait long time for make an order. After that everything was fast. They do not serve skinny version of coctailes, I...found it strange. The food is very good and the waiter was very nice. I can reccomend this place.More
The food is excellent and the staff very friendly, We enjoyed our visit lately. It's a little bit noisy, but with that kind of food, it's easier to accept. Every thing on the menu is always great and plenty of it in the plate.
Brasserie Fleurimont is well worth a visit if you are in Sherbrooke, especially if you enjoy seafood. The restaurant is always well patronized but offers seating for many. There are also private salons for groups or gatherings. The menu is extensive, but the restaurant is...rightly well known for its seafood, especially the shrimp offerings. When we last visited, the service was a little slow, but the food, when it was served, was tasty, warm, and generous in terms of quantity.More
Brasserie Fleurimont is an attractive restaurant with a menu similar to Red Lobster but a cut above it. Not gourmet, but competent preparations of standard seafood. Portions are generous (I got 6 large scallops and ten medium shrimp for US $17), lead to a tasty...meal.
But, Fleurimont is very big and at dinner, very busy. Parking is a problem despite their having a large private lot. And, even though we told the server about a food allergy, they still served us a dish that contained the disallowed item. Maybe this is because the staff is just too rushed to do their jobs properly. In any case, it cost a star in my review. Some people may think this error is more serious.More
The Brassierie Fleurimont was a pleasant suprise. A huge restaurant with an amazing menu filled with seafood choices and much more. Service was very friendly and helpful. The meals are very reasonably priced and the food was good.
We live in Granby and made reservation for 7:00 at night. We got to the brasserie at 6:45 and were told that our reservation was at 5:00. We explaind it was impossible because we did not have the time to get there for 5:00. A...gentleman, if we could call him that, would not stop telling that we were wrong and he would try to find us a table, he tried to put us at the table just beside the entry, my companion refused and the argument continued. We are 74 years old and do not have much money, this anniversary was important to us.More
Before there were brasseries in Quebec there were simply 'tavernes'- basically pubs that served up beer, some distlled beverages, and standard, hale and hearty pub fare - nothing fancy - but only to men! That's because back in the day, women were generally not allowed...into 'tavernes'. Then about the time of Canada's 100th anniversary along came the "quiet revolution" and things started to change. Tavernes "cleaned-up" their operations and reputations to become "Brasseries" where women were admitted; menus featuring only pub fare expanded, and owners modernized their establishment to compete with local high-end restaurants. Though I didn't witness it myself, I suspect the Brasserie Fleurimont, which in has been around for a while, followed a similar pattern; evolving into the delightful, destination dining spot it is today in the Eastern Sherbrooke neighborhood of Fleurimont!! And a delight it is to want for nothing, in terms of an intimate dining environment, attentive staff, and a menu with a range of choices to satisfy everyone's pallet. With choices ranging from fresh seafood dishes to the House specialty, Prime Rib (my favorite) nobody leaves this place hungry or disappointed. In fact, a FIVE STAR rating doesn't do the Brasserie Fleurimont justice,IT DESERVES TEN STARS!!!!!More
