We had dinner here and really enjoyed ourselves and the food. Our meals were cooked flambé style at the table and our waiter was fantastic and a good cook. I had the steak which was cooked perfectly, my wife share the Duck a la orange...More

Not many places like this anymore. Old school steakhouse done right. Table side ceaser, steak and crepes Suzette. A must try in Quebec City.

The filet mignon was the best cut of meat I have ever had. Combining that with the escargot was enough to consider an international move. This restaurant is not cheap, but well worth the money if you love great food and a classic dinning experience....More

We loved our experience here. The table side preparation of steaks and the amazing Caesar salad made for a great night. We ate at a lot of great restaurants in Quebec, but this was our family favorite!

The restaurant offers the best Chateubriand we ever tasted! The preparation of it, the salads and the deserts are done by the side table next to yours. One of few that makes Creppe Suzette for desert. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious! Great atmosphere. Very romantic, along with an extensive wine list and gracious hospitality to match. A bit pricey but it’s worth it!

Had Christmas Eve dinner here and everything was amazing! There were four of us, we all something different and all were very pleased. Service was excellent; righ t on top of things but not overbearing. Will eat here again next time we are in Quebec.

I have been to my share of high end restaurants, and for the price I paid this was not as close to as good as others. Sad really I was hoping for a lot more. The chateubrian was no where near what I think it...More

Sorry for the delay in responding. No, jackets were not required. There were also some guests who were quite casual.
Trip advisor lists it as vegetarian friendly. What vegetarian options are on the menu? I eat dairy and eggs but no beef chicken or fish.

There is a fantastic chain of vegetarian restaurants in Quebec called Le Commensal. It would be much less expensive alternative to Le Continental. Not as plush but if you're concerned about where your food comes from... More

Total EnjoymentIn the gourmet world of Le Continental, traditional cuisine is classical. Enjoy the perfect service, the great flambéed dishes that pay tribute to the delicious French cuisine. The Continental's wine cellar is most impressive with its board of famous selection of French, Italian and American wines. It offers a choice of more than five thousand bottles, four hundred different varieties from Grands Crus classés to affordable prices.
