Had an amazing dinner with my daughter this past week at Le Continental. It was recommended by the concierge at Chateau Frontenac and did not disappoint. We shared Caesar Salad made tableside - the best Caesar we both ever had. Then our waiter made us two table side main dishes. I had the Filet Mignon and my daughter the Whiskey... More

At one time in my life I worked in a formal old style French restaurant and Le Continental is exactly that. The service is friendly and attentive, the waiters know what you need before you ask. The food prepared at the table not only provided an interesting show but the flavours and presentation were excellent. The escargots were perfect, the... More

We went early on on a Saturday night in early March. No problem getting a reservation, but they did get markedly busier as the evening went on. Splendid old school service, with a special mention for our waiter, who was tolerant of our weak attempts at French, and he made a nice personal level of connection. As for the food...... More

This restaurant in the heart of old city is top ranked for good reasons. Amazing ambiance, great food, location is perfect for a quick walk in the old city before or after dinner.

On a very busy night during Winter Carnival, our group was seated timely. Although our waiter was balancing multiple tables with flambé requests, he was able to keep up with our requests and was particularly personable when things slowed down to a more reasonable pace. Everyone was very pleased with the variety of meals we had from shrimp scampi to... More

This is a great restaurant if you want to have an elegant dinner. Classic ceaser salad prepared table side in the traditional way. Their speciality is Crepe Suzettes flambe at the table -- make sure to save room for it!

We dined at Le continental to experience table side prep of classic dishes. These experiences are hard to find these days! We were not disappointed. The Caesar salad was the best one I've ever had. The steak was delicious and PERFECTLY prepared. The cherries jubilee perfect. I highly suggest you dine here if you appreciate this type of thing. The... More

Everything about this restaurant is great. The food is superb, ambience is upscale - but still warm and welcoming - and the staff is just delightful, while also being quite attentive. But what makes Le Continental extra special are the dishes that are prepared tableside. This made the whole dining experience unique and fun for everyone, including the other diners... More

Total EnjoymentIn the gourmet world of Le Continental, traditional cuisine is classical. Enjoy the perfect service, the great flambéed dishes that pay tribute to the delicious French cuisine. The Continental's wine cellar is most impressive with its board of famous selection of French, Italian and American wines. It offers a choice of more than five thousand bottles, four hundred different varieties from Grands Crus classés to affordable prices.
