I recently moved to Quebec and was buying coffee when a local lady told me to try Le hobbit. She told me it was one of the best in Quebec. We were opposite the restaurant at the time. I decided to take some family there a few days later for Sunday brunch. It was great. I won't go into the... More

The small but not cramped establishment offers some delicious breakfast food. For the homemade jam for the fresh bread, the complementary smoothie with your breakfast to my delicious and perfectly cooked omelet - all were superior. The establishment is also nothing like a tourist trap, rather a great place the locals love and enjoy. Highly recommend.

Is this the best food I've ever eaten? Probably. The service was great and my waiter, Sebastian, even let me order in my awful French (which he said was not that awful). He was really friendly and funny, the atmosphere was great and they were playing some good music. The food was amazing. I ordered French onion soup, bison cheek... More

Met at this restaurant for breakfast with some colleagues before a conference. The service was excellent, our waiter was cheeky and accommodated English speaking guests and even recommended his favourite dish which was enjoyed well by the recipient. The coffee may have been the best I've ever had! So so good. Personally I ordered the "omelette delicieuse" and thoroughly enjoyed... More

Friendly bistro steps away from our hotel offering classics like French Onion Soup, Fried Calamaris, charcuteries, salads and blood pudding - All have a unique twist with honey, nuts, maple and herbs. Duck pot pie, beef shoulder steak with a whisky sauce, pork osso bucco and a burger! If you suffer from allergies beware, most dishes have nuts!

Excellent service and great ambiance even in the morning. The prices are reasonable and the food is hard to dislike. Well situated and great for BIG GROUPS.

We made reservations for Cafe Le Hobbit online and had issues with the app, though it did make the reservation in the end. The menu doesn't indicate what are the gluten-free options, and when we asked, we were told our server would be able to help us. Well, when they leave you for 20 minutes it doesn't help because you... More

Really enjoyed this place, me and my family dropped by here after it was recommended by a employee of the hotel we stayed at. It's perfect for any group, the food and service was great.
