Ate here last February during Winter Carnival and now again during Festival D'ete. Busy spot with very upbeat atmosphere. Got to taste the Calzones on this visit along with a pitcher of Sangria to wash it all down. Sitting outside was the perfect way to enjoy the early evening. The street was closed in the evening to vehicles allowing thousands... More

We were greeted by the owner and the most popular dishes were explained to us. The food came fresh and delicious!

Found this little place just outside the Old City - 637 Grande Allee Est.. Best calzone ever. Great prices. The owner was a nice man who made you feel right at home. Menu choices - good variety of Italian fixins. Good vino and beer choices all at reasonable prices. Red and white checkered table clothes just like home.

The fact that they stationed a young blonde staff member outside on a cold November night to grab customers should be a clue - still we were looking for it based on TA reviews anyway. They offered a Table d'Hote which was Ok- companion had minestrone, not bad, I had a Caesar salad- unexceptional, standard restaurant dressing/ bacon bits etc.... More

Much more of a full service restraurant than the name would suggest. We were among the first customers tehre on a Sunday afternoon (1:00) in October. By the time that we left at little after 2:00 pm it was quite full. We had french onion soup and a creme of spinich which were both very good. We split a calzone... More

Ordered red wine with Diablo Calzone,a Large Ceasar Salad, topped it with a tiramisu and my husband and I were fully satisfied. The food was really really good, the service was pleasant and fast. It's a definite must try when you are in Quebec City. Ambience was really friendly. Go early to get a place as it fills us quickly... More

I love Casa Calzone! My partner and I ate there three nights in a row. The calzones are as good, if not better than some of the best in New York City! I know because I'm a native New Yorker, and Italian! Very pleasant wait staff and the owner is 'hands on' and talks with his customers. September 25, 2009
