Elegant setting, good food and being in a historic building - Quebec Parliament - all make it special. Price is quite reasonable and service attentive and polite. Ask for bread if you want it, the policy is to not bring it automatically but only if clients want it. I find the food has gotten better over the years. We had... More

This is a pretty restaurant inside the beautiful Parliament building. We went for breakfast a day or so before Christmas. It was very quiet, only one other family eating. It was fun to eat breakfast here. I imagine it would be more lively at lunchtime or during a busier time of the year. The food was good and a good... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Some of the food grown right in their gardens. Dishes were unusual and tasty.

It’s unusual that you have to go through security and wear a visitor’s badge to get to the restaurant. The room is beautiful, the food was very good, but the service wasn’t so good. Maybe my experience is unusual, and maybe it was because there was a large group (about 25 college aged students plus a couple of profs) having... More

My sister and I went here for lunch and we really enjoyed it. I read about the opportunity prior to my visit but I thought that it was closed for the summer. We happened to ask at an information tent as we passed by and were pleased to learn that it was open. The woman at the information tent suggested... More

I like the Parlementaire and living myself in Quebec-City it is one of my favorite restaurants. I like it especially because it is not as most of the other places. It is the canteen or cafeteria of the Quebec deputies and higher ranked government stuff. And to be profitable they decided to open it to the public. The interior and... More

Due to the size of our party of 129 guests, we had a set menu of butternut squash soup, choice of chicken or pork over puréed potatoes with streamed veggies, and dessert. The soup was good, my pork was over cooked, and the dessert was not memorable...seriously can't remember it it was. Service was below average for such a stately... More

This restaurant is in the Parliament building. It takes a bit to get in - you have to fill out a form with your birthdate for everyone in the party and go through a metal detector (all understandable). We went for breakfast and the eggs were the creamiest I've ever had! The atmosphere was great. For breakfast, there were few... More

We had breakfast here before our tour and we were the only ones there! We couldn't believe it, because this is the best value, nicest breakfast in town. The dining room is amazing and so is the food and service! All breakfast options are $13 and include unlimited coffee. You cannot go past this. It is a must do in... More

We ate breakfast at the Parliament before our tour. Note that the English tour was a 11am so check tour times before you come over to eat breakfast. We ate in the beautiful dining room up stairs (not the cafe). Our group of 6 were practically alone in the dining room. Service was impeccable. I felt like we were eating... More
