Bought my husband a brownie for $5.00. Not iced and a bit dry. The other items in the glass case actually looked pretty good. Cashier very friendly. Lines ups really long because of lunch counter. Better bakery on other end of St Jean.More

Hello - very sorry to hear that you did not like our brownie - what I do not understand is that we sell the brownie for 2,95$ and that you paid 5,00$. If you would like to contact us at info@paillard.ca we could try to...More

I love pastry, i mean love it. I lived in France and spent most of my time eating pastry not "real food" so this was like being in heaven. my family and I got a big selection of things and shared. everything was perfect.

This place was huge and had an amazing selection of baked goods, also breakfast and lunch options. We had coffee and and shared a couple melt in your mouth pastry’s. If we weren’t leaving the next day we would have been back. Everything we bought...More

Located in the heart of Rue Saint-Jean in the old city this is a place for spending some time eating or drinking or relaxing as no one will press you to go. Two things bothered me: - A tiny tiny cup of espresso for $3.50....More

The ambiance is perfect, warm and friendly. All the products are amazing, from fresh bread to macaroons. I have to go there a least for a coffee everytime I visit Quebec city

All of the previous reviews for this location are spot on. I simply stopped by for a Pain Au Chocolat and a cappuccino. The chocolate croissant was delicious, nice and light and didn't leave that heavy feeling in your stomach that some pastries can. Girlfriend...More

We came here because my boyfriend is obsessed with french pastries. He had a pain au chocolat and is still drooling about it. I had their lunch combo - a sammie, soup, with the desert of the day, which was a delicious little pastry. Everything...More

Good but quality is variable. Some desserts are fantastic, others are meh. Nothing is bad though. Perhaps the dessert goes down in quality throughout the day as they sit longer in the fridge.

They were around $2 each. Not the best macarons I have had, but it was nice to try the maple one.

It is not a breakfast place ... but you can order croissant or egg sandwiches. It depends on the daily menu.
