Had a very good lunch at this bustling cafeteria style establishment. There is also an outdoor dining area available. You are seated then walk up to the food line where the menu items are displayed through the glass. There are many choices from sandwiches to...More

Were seated immediately, given menus, then ignored for 25 mins. Tried to get someone's attention to order food but everyone avoided eye contact. In the end we just gave up and walked out.

Sat on the terrace for a quick bite. Service was quick, food was good for the price. Would try it again.

Montreal has many great cafés but Vasco's in particular is well suited for people watching. I usually park my motorcycle next to the street terrace and sit in the open bay window, sipping Illy coffee and watching people. The light fare is impeccable and the...More

Stopped by for a mid-afternoon cappuccino and a cafe au lait with a sweet treat. Excellent quality, will be back.

My husband and I came across this restaurant years ago, and we frequent it many times when we are in Montreal. The Italian sausage omelet is amazing with a close second going to the smoked salmon one. They offer up several different salads each day...More

The staff could not be nicer. The coffee was good, and the chocolate on the cappuccinos delicious. Pastries were just OK. Prices are high, much like most Montreal downtown cafes.

When we visit Montreal, this is always where we have breakfast at least once. The food is excellent, fresh, beautifully served with a generous sampling of fruits, and the service is friendly and helpful. Wish the seating was more comfortable, but as I said, we...More

I dropped in for a coffee, cake and to check my emails. They smiled, gave me a table, took my money. Before I had finished my coffee, the owner came over and asked if I was staying for lunch. I had just finished a cake...More

Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the
Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and
commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship

headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by
nightfall transforms from a business district into a
youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and
restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
