Food tasted all right. I got some tandoori chicken meal... it was 6 little bites in a bowl of sauce. No rice or anything on the side. I ordered some naan bread, which was not good. I was starving after this meal i ordered. The place was too crowded, waiter didn't speak english, they only had one beer available, it... More

Very small restaurant, cozy, delicious food. Be sure to make reservations since it can get packed quick since the place isn't big. Definitely to check out for authentic Indian cuisine!

I went with my girlfriend for dinner last night. the ambiance is nice but the food was not up to par. We ordered chicken pokoras, lamb korma, palak paneer, naan, and rice. the chicken pokoras were not done with the thick traditional batter, it was more like a thin chickpea batter on chicken (chicken fingers...), i have to say the... This is our favorite montreal restaurant. Food is absolutely brilliant and service is impecible. The first place we bring any guests in town. I think we tried every dish on the menu by now and it's all great. You will not be disappointed.

Loved all the dishes (Thali, Tandori chicken and shrimp and Marhas (?) we had but my favorite was the spicy curry (not sure if the name was marhas?) with chicken. Let me tell you guys! You need to try GARLIC NAAN for extra $4!!!!! This is the best thing ever. I'm planning to visit again for sure!!!!

On a cold night without a reservation, the staff found a place for us in the crowded but warm restaurant. We enjoyed excellent Indian found, fast and friendly service, and very pleasant atmosphere.

The food is wonderful, but there's also something especially welcoming and homey about this restaurant that means we go there every time we visit Montreal. It's very small, so reservations are a must. Delicious and friendly!

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
