As sushi lovers we wanted to visit Kyoto Bar, which we did on a Tuesday evening with 2 families (8 persons). Extremely friendly staff, very good sushi/maki and nice atmosphere inside.

We visited Kyo after reading the good reviews. We shared a multitude of dishes and enjoyed them all---sushi, sashimi, cooked cod, seaweed salad, etc. Everything was fresh and tasty. You do need to order a lot as the portions are small. We finished our meal...More

We started with miso soup and hamachi. The soup was miso soup; nothing special. The hamachi, however, was beautifully prepared and presented, and tasted great. Next up: shrimp and vegetable tempura -- wow. The shrimp tempura was among the best we've ever had. I had...More

We went one night on spec, and spent a little time in the bar upstairs first, and then they found us a table. Suffice to say we returned a few nights later - it was that good. Nice staff, good service, and excellent sushi. Reasonable...More

My son and I just had a dinner tonight at Kyo. Overall the food was very good, but nothing special. I was expecting a little more pizzazz and variety given the very high rating of this restaurant. None of the food was bad, but none...More

The atmosphere is fantastic. Little things such as the rustic feel and the subtle slide show were really well done. And the food...excellent quality fish. The sushi, nigiri and maki were awesome. Good wine selection and amazing sake options, with informed staff. All-in-all, you have...More

Very well kept up place. Decor is well done. Very busy on a saturday night and hence noisy. Couldn't get in for 5 before 9pm. Food is good. Among the best Sushi we've had. Service was lacking however. Server wasn't tending to our table for...More
