What happened to this place? Did they change chef? I wanted to give zero stars but there is no such option. Please stay away, apparently the good chef is gone! My friend recommended this place, so I went there for dinner on a Monday evening. We walked in around 7, the restaurant is completely empty! I should have taken the... More

Based on previous reviews read here, my friend & I were looking forward to an authentic-type Chinese dinner. The reality was nowhere near this. The food was uninspired, greasy and it seemed like they had one sauce for every dish. Will not be eating here again.

A friend who lives in Montreal recommended this place to me, when explaining where it was he said, "If you see the building and feel like you want to turn back, you're in the right place. Go in anyways." Such good and authentic food, such friendly service, such great prices. Definitely recommend.

The reviews online are very good, and if you walk by you will be scared, and if you are in the front door you might want to go back. But read the reviews the food is very good at a great price

Don't let the exterior put you off. We had a great dinner. Arrived near closing and had very good service.

A great little chinese restaurant close to place de arts. So good, I came back for second helpings. Very very good food served here, and not expensive either. Will be back for sure.

I see other reviews lauding the service, but we were there on a Thursday for lunch and the woman working was much more interested in browsing the internet than taking our order. We braved ahead since we had heard the food is good, and our S&P shrimp and pork in garlic sauce were both delicious, as were the dumplings we... More

It is one of the best Chinese restaurant we have tried in Montreal. The flavor is very very close to the food you can find in restaurant in China. Simple and organized menu with all real Chinese food. We ordered the fried duck and cumin lamb, they were excellent. The dandan noodle was like homemade style. Tofu soup was a... More

Even if the inside of the restaurant doesn't look great, the food is very good. A lot of people who lived in China go there because they say it reminds them the food there and I agree as I also just come back from Asia. Some really spicy plates but also more mild ones. If you love real chinese food,... More

And the Shredded Pork with Garlic sauce is my favorite dish in Montreal. I've eaten here at least half a dozen times and never been disappointed.

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
