This place boasts vegetarian and vegan food without following any particular cuisine type. Some of the food is seasoned well but some was excessively salty. The ambience was awful with flies everywhere and excessive crowding. The food pretends to be derived from Mexican and Indian...More

For the 3 days that we spent in Montreal, we made good memories over this holiday weekend until our last night here when we chose this so called "Mexican place". It came highly recommended and we had loved the restaurants that we had chosen so...More

Awesome vegan food. Great comfort food. Had the poutine which was extremely well balanced and was finger licking good. Probably the best poutine of the trip. They had some interesting cocktails too. The Kale caipirinha was delicious. The atmosphere and the service was exceptional. The...More

It's funny that I only made it to Lola Rosa today after so many years coming to Montreal. My daughter lives just next door (she kept me telling for a long while now whether I had already shown up at the restaurant). Never checked in...More

Had a fine lunch here. $10-$12 (C) entrees were reasonable and very good. Curry and quiche were delicious, even a very good cuppa for $2. While I may miss my flexitarian diet, places like this affirm that there is good life as a vegan ahead!

Stopped in here to sample some of Montreal's best veggie fare. In an online article, this place was noted to have great poutine that wasn't on the menu when we got there. But the rest of the food was great, so it made up for...More

This is clearly a favorite with the local college crowd so be prepared to wait outside. The food here isn't anything fancy, but it is quite tasty. I really enjoyed my curry, which was super flavorful and not overly spicy (I'm a total spice wimp)....More

First timers in MTL. Got the nachos which was a lot for 2 people despite being the smaller size and the burrito. The nachos were amazing with excellent amount of veggies and beans. The burrito was well done with a nice topping of avocado and...More

Lola Rosa catered our event and provided a variety of delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. All the students absolutely loved it. We thank them for their kindness and generosity and hope to work with them again. Regards, Borderless World Volunteers

Hello Cafe Lola Rosa from England. I'm a far away mum wanting to give my busy daughter a birthday treat and your Cafe sounded just the right place :) Would it be possible for me to somehow organise a gift voucher of some sort with you so I could send it to her?? She has five kiddies and a work schedule like you wouldn't believe so it would have to be a flexible option date wise... i just know it would be a perfect evening out for her and her hubby if they ever managed to get a bit of "them" time!! ( I m thinking meat eating hubby would be able to find something suitable on your menu as well as his vegetarian wife??) Carol
