We've eaten all over North America and Europe, and I can't remember a more memorable meal. The service was perfect - formal but not stuffy. The food was exquisite. Trust the recommendations of the staff. By the end of the evening, we felt like regulars....More

This small restaurant in old Montreal lost its opportunity for quaintness. Instead of retaining the old brick interior walls the inside had been covered up with plywood and plaster, creating a faux cavern setting. The wine list boasts an extensive and expensive list of French...More

The food was good, it was executed to look pretty yet that little something that puts a dish over the top in taste was missing. The room was impressive but stuffy and warm. The sommelier and chef, both women, yet the wine list was only...More

My wife and I dined late on Friday evening during a snowstorm (typical Montreal), and were happy that we braved the storm. The food was first-rate, the wine list was broad and deep, and the atmosphere was quite special, much like a private club, with...More

We did the tasting menu and ate like kings!! The food was magnificent - I can't recall having better cooked fish and game, seasoned to perfection, with really attentive and thoughtful service. Highly recommended

Went with my husband and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance is super classy and comfortable seating. The wine was paired perfectly with my meal (I had duck) and they made a special gluten free sauce for me to enjoy with the meal. Our waiter...More

We have eaten all over the world, and this is one of the most outstanding dining experiences we have ever had. Like many other reviews we agree that the piglet risotto and chasse et peche (makes sense if it has the same name as the...More

A fantastic French-Canadian retstataunt located in the heart of Old Montreal. The food, service, ambiance & atmosphere are perfect. The food is delicious, their wine list is impressive, and the staff is always helpful and kind enough to take a moment to answer any questions....More

It’s been 2 years since I dined here (2016), but one of my favorite restaurant experiences I’ve had. The food was amazing & the hospitality was even better. Ray made the experience so memorable. I still dream of the piglet risotto & Rucolino amaro.

It’s a bit upscale, but I suppose nice jeans would be ok if worn with a collared shirt. I don’t recall anyone in the restaurant wearing anything so casual, but it’s not stuffy in there.
