If you read the many reviews, some of which were good and some of which were bad, reading my review may help you make up your mind. We went to the restaurant on Saturday Feb. 18, 2016. We were a group of 10 people, we had reservations and this was the first time that we were in the restaurant. A... More

This little restaurant is located in the Place Philips Hotel. You can either go into the restaurant or have it delivered to your room. Prices were average. Food was very good but it has a limited menu. Restaurant menu is different that the room service menu. If you want something in the room service menu and you want to eat... More

We were staying at Le Square Phillips and decided to go downstairs for cocktail and snack. Trattoria Ziia is not really a hotel bar (it's a restaurant), but the extremely accommodating waiter made us very welcome. Although the menu didn't include wine by the glass, he produced two very nice glasses suited to our tastes. When we asked if they... More

Found like place on Le Phillips Square. We ended up having 2 bottles of wine with our meal. The food is very good and the service in attentive! We splurged on the dinner so $158 US is what we paid for my wife and I.

Our family of 3 were staying in the Square Phillip hotel and ate here for dinner on the first night. It was delicious. Love the seafood linguine and daughter loved the lasagna. The service and food were outstanding. It is a very friendly and welcoming place. The chocolate cake was very dry and not to our taste, but everything else... More

I dropped in here early on Sunday evening as I was staying at Le Square and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and presentation. The sup was tasty, fish was cooked correctly and the desert traditional.I dined solo but was not made to feel uncomfortable or put in a corner. The only downside was the tv should have been off for... We had a wonderful meal at Zia. My son has osso bucco, we all tasted it, it was heavenly. So tender and very tasty. The lemoncello cake is to die for. The carrot soup was superb. The pasta with meat sauce was great. A good bottle of wine. Don't miss this restaurant.

We found this place via TripAdvisor and the positive reviews convinced us to go here. Very casual dining, connected to a hotel. My husband had the ossobuco (pork) and was told by the waiter that he would be surprised at how tender it was. Gotta say he was right. I had the veal Marsala, and the veal was grilled (or... More

The place was really busy, so that leads me to believe that locals like this pizza. However, this pizza was barely average next to NYC standards. Service was good and quick though.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
