I only been to this place with my girlfriend and I have to admit that the inside looks incredibly beautiful (very decorate, and full of plants and nature around). The service is fantastic and the location can't get any better (it's in old port) and even though I don't recall what I had, I do remember having this special crêpe... More

If you're a tourist visiting Montreal, this is a really quaint outdoor/indoor kind of restaurant. Theres usually a live band that plays, call ahead to make reservations for outside. The appeal of this restaurant is the garden. Service and food is great. Price is reasonable for the location and appeal.

The wife and I go there 3 or 4 times a year, only open once the weather is nice usually around april, be ready to wait in line for a table, but it's definitely worth the wait, beautiful garden atmosphere and the food is great, we bring our kids and grandkids to this rest at least once a year, if... Beautiful setting for a nice brunch with family or friends on a beautiful summer day and spend the whole day strolling the Place Jacques Cartier and surroundings in the old Montreal area. A garden patio with tasty dishes in a unique atmosphere from pizzas to crepes & omelet casseroles, a menu with so much variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic... More

This is where we go to feel like we're traveling. Good is fine and needs to be drunk with a rosé. Service is very friendly and we learned about yoga. Helps to eat with a figure skater who can give tips on how to hold your arms to match with the music. And there's music.

The service is friendly, and the food is quite fine. The restaurant garden, however, is a must to enjoy. The ambience is romantic and almost European in atmosphere. On the many occasions that we've been there, during the summer, there is live music. This is a wonderful addition to the already pleasant surrounding. Although I realize that food is key,... More

The location is awesome and when there's outdoor entertainment it's even better. The food isn't great but it's a great place to grab a drink and enjoy one of the nicest terraces in Montreal.

The food is great, the service is fantastic the atmosphere is relaxing with the jazz band playing softly. The dry Martinis are a must if naturally you like the drink.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
