Been there in October for a birthday, the service was impersonal with no smile, a bad day I suppose. The menu was impressive in quantity but the quality is not there at all. My plate was cold when the celebrating was serve. The bathroom was dirty in a very old style and the carpet of the restaurant is so old... More

This restaurant never disappoints. My wife and I have been on several occasions and we always have a wonderful night. The food is outstanding. The menu is quite lengthy and everything is so delicious that I have a hard time choosing. In recent years I have completely eliminated gluten from my diet and luckily, I can still enjoy eating here... More

We arrived just after lunch hour to find an empty restaurant & thus we expected availability of attentive service. After ordering & delivery of food & initial pouring of our wine the waitress never returned. The appetisers of Caesar salad & escargots were mediocre, as was main courses of veal parmigiana, & fettucchini alfredo (which was a tasteless pile of... More

I have been to this restaurant countless times. It is a very nice restaurant with great service. Today I had the mushroom risotto with the grilled salmon. The risotto was nice, however very rich and was not able to finish everything. The salmon was unfortunately over done. I did mention it to the waitress and she told me it was... More

The food was great, large portions and good presentation right down to dessert. The staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating. I had the spaghetti carbonara which I asked if sausage can be added. My request was granted with no problem. At the end of the meal we were treated to a complimentary digestive. A must goto resturant if you are... More

I had the Fettuccine Alfredo and it was some of the best I ever tasted. The service was very good. Would go back again.

Visiting from the states from New England which has some fabulous Italian food and this place still stood out as excellent! To start they have great meatballs and Marinara the hallmark of great Italian places. Then superb homemade sausage and even super gluten free for my daughter. Try the Secco Bertani wine for a perfect compliment to your meal and... More

We cam in on a Saturday night after reading trip advisor reviews. A few people turned and left after hearing bad news that the had filled up all their tables they could fill before a special event. We were told the could serve us quick, but we would need to be finished in under an hour. We took them up... More

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
