We enjoyed the food and ambience. Make sure you make reservations as this place is always busy. Would definitely go back again.

My wife and I had dinner here last night. Based on locally based reviewers and a need for a real French bistro meal and experience. A joyous experience with matching food. AND everyone treats you like you're a regular. Oysters to start with some Sancerre....More

As others have stated, the atmosphere of L'Express transports you to France. There is not one inauthentic note to this bistro. The service was friendly and efficient. It may sound silly that I got so excited about an omelette, but my omelette of locally harvested...More

We ate at this restaurant 20 years ago when we visited Montreal, then again 10 years ago, and then again this time. The food is consistently excellent. The sorrel soup is delicious, we also got salmon and ravioli, all great. The desserts are fantastic! It's...More

A big and quite noisy bistro. Professional service. The food is simply good and tasty. It is not sofisticated but very good. Reasonable pricing. We enjoyed it very much.
