Absolutely love this restaurant! We have been a couple of times and each dish we’ve taken has been simply delicious (and quite filling!). The prices are a bit above average, but we think it is definitely worth it for the quality of the food and service you get. The fruits you get before your main dish are always fresh and the coffee is actually quite good! The servers are always very nice and welcoming (especially Mathieu, a server we’ve had a couple of times now). We took the pancakes “Gâteau aux carottes” (Carrot cake pancakes) and the Arc-En-Ciel Eggs Benedict: both amazing, as usual!Would definitely recommend for a great breakfast experience in Montreal :) There can be an extensive queue sometimes (mainly over the weekend) but if you are a breakfast lover, it is worth the wait!

There was a long wait about 30-45minutes but it was well worth it. The food tasted incredible and the portions were immense. I recommend getting the Indecisive with carrot cake pancakes. The sausages weren't my favourite but everything else was great. The smoothies are also meant to be shared, they're almost fish bowl sized.

It was my 1st brunch there and even though I had to wait outside for over 1/2h it was quickly forgotten once inside. The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is super kind and the food is delicious. The portions are huge so if you're not starving you might consider sharing.

Hearty does not describe the portion size here, perhaps enough for a large farmer about to head out for the day? I would say a 6 egg omelet! Plus, you get a small bowl her ed potatoes and your choose of bread (I picked a sesame bagel -yum). My husband ate half and I would say perhaps think about splitting a meal and just get an extra side? That should be plenty. No one around us finished their food, seemed like a waste. Perhaps, bring down the portion size and the price by 20%? My husband had the eggs Benedict with cheese and a French toast base (soft and cinnamon toasty) they did not have a substitute if you remove the ham for vegetarians and might be nice to lower the price by a dollar or two (they do it in some restaurant). It was delicious!!!!! Also had a Chai tea bowl! Creamy beyond+ Hubby had coffee and the waitress for got to refill however, once she remembered, she did it three more times! The waitress was polite, helpful and so, so busy! The bathroom, even if you don't have to go, go! Bring your camera/iPhone! I didn't and wish I had!Neon paint, a TV with a guy riding a motorcycle towards you... The music is loud, the walls (mainly one) is spray painted various items (skulls, hearts, random colors), plus a full size motorcycle hanging overhead. The wait on a Thursday was not to bad, about 10 minutes. They do ask for vaccinations information, which is good, rather packed in there. Go, enjoy, bring loose fitting clothes ;)

Hi breakfast lovers, it feels like it has been an eternity since I’ve been here I missed it so much. L’Avenue has a new menu, I was tempted to try Taco Paco which is fried chicken with crêpes it looks so good, next time. I went for Michoacán Benedict so delicious, instead of chicken breast they use chicken thigh and replaced the English muffin with sweet potatoes. To my surprise I was greeted with (as well as all the other customers) a choice of Mimosa with orange or with strawberry and watermelon, I chose the latter. Let’s all stay positive and healthy, much love ❤️ to all... 🙏🏽

We were slightly put off by the queue outside as it’s no fun queuing in minus temperatures, persevered & within 15 mins were sat down. Despite the business and queues outside, staff didn’t rush you at all and allowed you to enjoy the food.... The food!!!! Absolutely delicious. We had the chicken sandwich (butter chicken burger with brioche bread), full breakfast, shakshuka. Plate of fruit to begin & a mimosa! No negatives. Not one! Worth the wait & you won’t have to eat anything else for the rest of the day.

We arrived at the Laval Location on St Martin Blvd , not yet registered on Trip Advisory. Nice location and decor . I ordered a blueberry 🫐 ice tea , my friends ordered coffee . My husband had water . We checked out the extensive menu, and my friends had eggs & bacon 🥓, I tried their avocado toast , came with a side salad which was way too vinegary , so I didn’t finish it , the avocados slices were very fresh , the country bread was Schmeared with a red hummus, and some salty cheese cubes on top . Pics to follow . My husband ordered the Nutella strawberry French toast , you could only eat one piece , the slices were very large . The atmosphere is very young and interesting decor / the music was loud that you had to shout to be heard . The waiter ( Elie )went out of his way to help my friend who has food intolerances.

The food at this restaurant is incredible and it always looks like art. There's a caramelized banana crepe dish with coconut and hazelnut spread that is just ridiculously good. (Yes, it's overpriced, but not egregiously so). The bathrooms are a must see (weird, I know, but trust me you'll get it once you see it). This restaurant is not to be missed. There are now multiple locations now, although I prefer the original location. Service is always quick and reliable. I've never had issues with getting substitutions when ordering - they're quite accommodating.

My wife and I visited L’Avenue for a late lunch. The restaurant, the service and the quality of the food are amazing. This is a popular restaurant, so be prepared to queue. The focus is on breakfasts and brunches so don’t expect a dinner menu. The portions are very large, make sure you are hungry or share plates! Great spot and highly recommend.

I enjoyed every morsel of this deliciousness! If you are in the mood for food, delightful music with amazing service from the sweet staff, this is definitely the restaurant you need to try. This restaurant has such a unique look and the food is just outstanding. I chose the French toast because I loooooooove bread and this was 2 extreme pieces with never ending amount of REAL maple syrup straight from Quebec. If you love bread like I do, I know you will enjoy this! Had my espresso as I always do and they do have an exciting selection of coffee for your coffee taste buds. I give my 5 stars times 2! Thank you L’Avenue **********

Without sounding dramatic, this is hands down the best breakfast we’ve ever eaten anywhere in the world. We had to queue for around 25 minutes to get a table, but once you’ve eaten the food it’s obvious why it’s so popular. Every item on the menu has clearly been thought about, even minor items like the herby potatoes which come with most of the meals were amazing. Service was also great!

5 of us ordered 5 breakfast without knowing the mega portion size, should have ordered 4 instead. excellent presentation and taste, also excellent services, we arrived early in the morning, by the time we finished, long line up outside. I think the washroom is a bit dirty in my opinion. with tips...$150 for brunch...so it is on the expensive side

I arrived at brunch time (10 something) on a weekday and was seated almost immediately. The terrace was full but there was space inside. By the time I left there was a long line. The food was all very good, and the portions huge. I thought I was quite hungry going in, but could only finish a bit over half of my food. I had the Bobby Goes to Seoul and an Oreo Milkshake. Staff were all nice.

Cozy place in Montreal with a huge variety of menu options and perfect portion size. The service is a bit slow but the atmosphere is relaxed. Last time I ordered the Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and caramelized onions, so delicious, must be the best I've ever had

This place was recommended to me by a friend and it took me long time to try it. It’s amazing! Portions are huge, loved their presentation and the staff is very friendly. Their fruit brochettes are amazing, it regular fruit but the presentation makes it perfect. Their potatoes are special and again the portions are huge. We went for breakfast and their terrace was all shaded so it was perfect for a hot day!

Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
