I went in and asked for two pitas, one burned no fillings, half done. The other, slightly cooked just so, easy on the fillings, with water on the side. He said, that's very hard to do. And I said, you did it yesterday.

Casa Napoli used to be one of the best Italian eateries in Montreal. It now looks dated and the service is average. The food is reasonable good but has been overtaken by many other places which surround it. Its expensive menu make it fully priced for an average experience

It was suppose to be THE restaurant in Little Italy to attend: of course with high expectations usually come dissapointments but there are many: The Decor: Not quite rustic, not very inviting, which is surprising because from outside the place looks very intriguing... The overall atmosphere is empty... The food: huge portions, from the antipasti plate to the risotto... HUGE... More

The atmosphere is very vibrant but I was very disappointed in the food and the service. The veal parmagian was very tough and the service was very slow.

We ate there this July with 2 other couples. Place was not croweded. ..maybe prices...maybe because on a weeknight. But food with an exception of the shrimp was very good. When we paid, we inckuded the tip. To our surprise, they gave us back the change between food cost and our sum, something that never happened in prior visits or... More

This was the BEST Italian meal we have ever had. The meatballs were tender and juicy and the lasagna was to DIE for! Definitely check this restaurant out!

The manager was quite rude to our party of three, and I felt looked down upon because I was a university student. The food was good but not worth the prices. I would not go back, there are too many other excellent restaurants in Montreal.

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighbourhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
