To those who will be traveling to Montreal in the coming months, here's a detour that's worth it. Go to the Chinatown and recommend Chez Chine, which is located inside the magnificent Holiday Inn Select Downtown Montreal Hotel, located at 99 rue Viger Ouest. At...More

I didn't try the asian food, I had something from the bistro menu and it was because I really didn't want to go out. Really average! The breakfast was too expensive for what it was...

I are breakfast here twice as it is inside the hotel we were staying at. Buffet breaky was pretty decent, no complaints and the service was very good. I did have some hot and sour soup for dinner one night with some General Tsao chicken....More

Disappointed in the Holiday Inn to have this place as the restaurant in downtown Montreal. The food here is over priced and below avg. A basic club sandwich was served bland, soaked in mayo etc. Breakfast buffet was avg, had vouchers for breakfast so we...More

Located in Chinatown's Holiday Inn, this fine restaurant was a great place for a relaxing dinner after a busy day of touring. While a little pricey, they do accept Entertainment on-line coupons which make it a great value too. Must try the Shanghai chicken.

Came for Sunday dim sum . Reserved but at 12:30 the place was practically empty. We had a nice table next to koi pond. There are no carts with dim sum so you order from the menu and everything arrives at the same time. Food...More

The food here is very good if you are into Chinese. It is a beautiful restaurant with a huge koi pond rambling throughout. The wait staff and especially the maitre'd (a tall Frenchman with dark glasses) were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Had supper here and got to sit under the pagoda by the fish pond. The manager is very accommodating and fun as was our waiter Patrice. The menu was quite different then any other Chines restaurant we had been to, but we did find some...More

This was truly some of the worst food I have ever been served. The fried tofu was so salty it could have been used as a salt lick. The spring rolls might have been frozen at some time in their past. Do not go here....More

Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the
brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's
aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine.
Distinguished at its entry points by towering
vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighbourhood
acts as a focal point for the Chinese community,
hectic with educational facilities, cultural centres,
acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers.
