Went here twice with a friend while we were in Montreal, good variety of choices, love the pasta with the blush sauce. We also accidentally went on comedy night so that was fun!

Been here a few times. Food and beer is reasonably price. Food is typical pub far (burgers, fish and chips, bangers and mash etc). Can get busy before and after Habs games. Come out on a Monday night and try trivia.

We wanted a lite lunch while we were shopping on Monkland ave in Montreal. We stopped here as we like pub grub and we have several travel games we play and one of them is to "collect" Irish pubs. When we came in there was rugby on the telly, Ireland was playing Scotland. The menu was interesting with some traditional... More

Stumbled upon this place while walking to find a restaurant to eat at. Thought we'd stop here for a couple of drinks and ended up staying here the remainder if the evening. Drinks were awesome, staff were excellent and the food very good and lots of it. The curried lamb was superb as was the lamb shank my wife had.... More

Place was great. We ended up coming here after going to the steak house for drinks. The drinks were reasonably priced for Montreal I believe a bud light was $5 Canadian. The bartenders were good and courteous always made sure you had a full drink. Also, came here before the Montreal game and the place was packed we were still... More

Great idea, one menu table d'hôte, 5 or 6 choices, one price 20$. Service at times slow, even for a beer or a soft drink. Old building equals uneven comfort (freezing in rest rooms). Food fairly good. Would like to go back to try some other dish. Family friendly. Can be noisy. You pay for a coffee refill!

Great selection of good pub food and curry in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Wait staff is nice. A great place to watch the game or meet up with friends.

I ate here twice on a recent trip and enjoyed the experience both times. The service was friendly and attentive and the food -pub fare - was good too. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Montreal and need a casual dinner.

Who knew you were in for a curry treat! If you love curry, don't pass this up. Although there is plenty of good beer and single malts on the drink menu. I was expecting regular pub fare on the dining menu. To my surprise, I saw a list of curry dishes, and when I asked one of my friends that... More

Great location for those attending Centre Bell shows, 10 minute walk. Food was good value, service a bit slow, the place was only half full, but we were not in a hurry. Friendly server. Across the street from the Novatel Hotel and Le Crystal on Le Montagne.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
