Rreally nothing special. It's a regular breakfast place. Wait times are often really long. Not the cleanest place.

Food was delicious but service was very slow and servers too busy to be attentive. Excellent variety of choices.

This was an unexpected gem, right across the street from where we were staying. We went on our last day in Montreal, when we didn't have time to make the trek to Mile End and wanted a quick sit-down breakfast before we left. Everything we had - home fries, crepes, eggs, a Frenchie sandwich- was made fresh and was delicious.... More

We had to wait 5-10 minutes until seated, even though there were open tables. Staff looked stressed, even though the place was not full. Nice but simple restaurant to eat breakfast and brunch, reasonable priced, serving tasty classic breakfast and brunch food. I had a breakfast sandwich, which seemed to be made with french toast istead of regular toast which... More

Nice pancakes (crepes) and eggs benedict. Seasoned potatoes, coffee, fruit and apple sauce come with most options. Coffee is pretty good - not too weak - and is refilled regularly. Good start to the day. Free Montreal wifi.

I've been a regular at this casual brunch joint for going on 5 years and have yet to be disappointed. My favourite menu item is their Le Pêcheur (The Fisherman), a classic eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, capers, assorted fruit, and potatoes, served with your choice of Hollandaise or Mornay sauce. They are happy to substitute tomatoes for potatoes if... More

I go to both the Chambly and Ontario St. locations regularly and always get a good meal. There's nothing outstanding here but to get your food served reliably hot with good coffee EVERY time is worth my business. The bread used for toast is very good, baguettes are excellent. Eggs are always served as requested and fast.

The change of location has not changed the quality of the served breakfasts. Pleasant, good, not too expensive.

This is a breakfast place. We went early Sunday morning with no expectations. First surprise: the prices. These are the same prices as the trendy Plateau area. So maybe the mesl would be exceptional... Unfortunately, not so. Very ordinary. Coffee is American bottomless cup style. Omelets are ok and so are the potatoes. Add a small portion of apple sauce... We went there for the traditional Sunday brunch. It was delicious : nice variety of menus offered, very kind service. The food was great, and the place is very nice. We will bring visiting friends there!

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
