Our first dinner in Montreal and we enjoyed ourselves very much! The service was gracious and the sommelier was available to help with our wine selections. For dinner, we started with several snacks: oysters, fried smelt, and shishito peppers. They were all yummy, though the...More

The restaurant is easy to find, extremely comfortable and attractive, and close to bars and shops. Most importantly, the food and service are excellent. There were five of us in Montreal for a three day weekend and we ate at several good restaurants. All of...More

Wow! Thank you for this fantastic review. It is especially flattering as Montreal is full of wonderful restaurants. Ps. we are also addicted to the chocolate chip cookie and bourbon ice cream!

The menu is limited but the sea bass and bolognese pasta we selected were excellent. The portions were just right, not too large. The dessert we chose was a warm chocolate chip cookie with bourbon ice cream served in a tiny frying pan which kept...More

We ate there last week, recommended by our hotel. It is small, intimate, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The Lobster Tagliatelle was delicious, as was the Pasta Bolognese. Dessert was Beignets -- so yummy! Our favorite restaurant in Montreal.

Very good food. Funny that the look of their menu does not reflect how good the food is. I almost did not go in because the menu looked like regular cheap restaurant. Don't expect big dishes here (like the menu makes you believe). There is...More

Dropped in for brunch. Service was spectacular, atmosphere was welcoming, food was very good. Cafe lattes tasted like the ones we had in Rome. I wanted something not on the menu and that was no problem: 2 eggs (poached in red wine!) on toast and...More

Agreed - nice casual but 'no 'code' ...indeed, it appeared that this 'side' of the two sister restaurants was a litte more casual than the other .
