We were recommended to this place by our HOHO guide. We sat outside and the service was very efficient. Lunch menu was varied and our choices were better than anticipated.

The meals were so good, I wish there was more! Me and my wife both had beef dishes that tasted amazing. It was a little pricey for 2 but the meal was really good!

The cocktail and bartenders are top notch, the food is also incredible. The atmosphere can get a bit loud but charming place. The bathrooms are beautiful.

I spent a weekend in Montreal and we were at this place once a day. Our bartender Maureen was amazingly helpful navigating the foreign landscape. Lovely place and I highly recommend stopping off for a beer.

Loved the decor, felt like we were in Europe. Great service and amazing food. If you love mussels, they are to die for - in a bacon cider broth with the most amazing pomme frits. Beef short ribs, perfectly cooked, yummy with mashed potatoes. Friends...More

i would probably say "No". Obviously entirely up to you but the 2 times we visited it seemed full of business people at lunchtime and an adult crowd in the evening. (Plus there isn't a lot of space). Regards. Kev

Description
RESERVATIONS ARE FOR MEALS ONLY. PLEASE NOTE, 18 YEARS AND OVER. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE OR CANCEL RESERVATIONS THAT DON'T CONFORM OUR GUIDELINES. Featuring a plethora of interesting 1920s-inspired design details, the Dominion Square Tavern is a cut above your average downtown eatery. Enjoy simple classic fare such as mussels and fries or a pulled pork sandwich in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Top it off with a sinful serving of sticky toffee pudding. Newly reopened, the tavern is already a huge hit with the downtown professional crowd. A full bar, cocktails, wine and beers awaits.
