If you were to stop here for any reason, it would be the ambiance. Is a great location and the decor is unique with a hint of romance to it. I personally love the food here, especially the short ribs. I will say is somewhat...More

Ambiance was wonderful. Service was attentive. Unfortunately, the food was not worth making a reservation.

Barroco boasts a delightful atmosphere (sit near the open windows and watch passersby on the street) and a delicious menu. The cocktails are inventive, the local cheese is divine, and the wait staff is appropriately helpful. It's pricey but well worth it for an exquisite...More

Without question, easily the best food that we had in Montreal. The restaurant is small in size but huge in atmosphere (although the American rock music seems out of place). Portions are definitely on the small side and prices on the high side, given the...More

I don't do this. In fact, I've never done this. I am not a review type person. I'm too lazy or self absorbed to spend time writing reviews. It takes something significant to get me to complain about or praise something that doesn't affect my...More

What a wonderfully romantic, old-world atmosphere to dine or just have a cocktail! This place has so much character, I feel transported back in time. The little details such as the cocktail menu being in an old leather bound novel lends so much to the...More

Thank you for writing your thoughts! We are so lucky to be located in this wonderful building which is more than 200 years old. The walls and foundation are authentic and mixed with our decor; it gives us such an eccentric ambiance. Thank you for...More

We wore business casual. However, there were several other people who were wearing suits. It's definitely not a shorts & crop tops place.

Hello, there are a few vegetarian options on our menu such as the pasta, the tomato burrata tartelette; others can easily be modified to be vegetarian friendly.

At Barroco you can expect to enjoy inspired French Mediterranean fare in a warm and cozy atmosphere. With its dim lighting, stone walls and inspired decor, we offer fine dining that is chic but certainly not stuffy! Our friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff will do everything to make sure your experience is a memorable and enjoyable one. Reservations are highly recommended as our small 45-seat dining room tends to fill up quickly! We'll be happy to speak to you on the phone or you can head over to Bookenda to book a table. Looking forward to seeing you!
