We went there for my birthday last week and had an amazing time. The wait staff were all very attentive and the food was beyond amazing. We had the tasting menu and could not have been happier with the choices the chef made for us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who was looking for a great experience.

I discovered this restaurant on a website post that lists '11 Montreal Restaurants You Must Try If You’re A Couple Visiting The City For The 1st Time'. It was a rave review, so we went with family, and were not disappointed. The place is fun and energetic with an open kitchen, the service is terrific, and the food!!!! This isn't... More

Food was exceptional with oysters, foie gras, and black truffles. It was reasonably priced for all that goodness. We told the waiter a price point per person and chef created a delicious meal. Our waitstaff was super friendly as well. The only drawback was the music. It was so loud I could not hear people on the other end of... More

What a fabulous little restaurant. As a single traveller the staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The food and wine selection was fabulous. I'd particularly recommend the calamari with basil. The foie gras was also delicious, I had it with the tarte tatin which was a lovely blend of flavours. If I lived in Montreal I would... More

On a slow Tuesday evening, the owners and employees decided to present the 4 of us with amazing food and narrative and service and pride. We asked for a sampling dinner as choosing individually from the menu would have been limiting our dining experience. With an angle towards foie gras, we tried and loved so many menu items. From home... More

Title says it all. A bit expensive but worth every penny. The chef explains every meal & how to eat it. Ask for wine pairing. First visit but I will definately go back!

We had a week of vacation and decided to the the foodie thing and go to different restaurants in Montreal. We had been at Kitchen Galerie before but as everyone knows ... you have a better chance to play of a line with Max Pacioretty than to get a reservation at Kitchen Galerie. Well I guess that ... I will... More

We open the door and Surprise the smell, the ambiance , the reception from the staff put us at another level. Very good service , the food excellent, we like to order like tapas style, many... More

Just got back from a birthday/meal at Kitchen Galerie, man was that delish! I had the foie gras poele - to DIE for and the my main course was the Colin - a flaky white fish that was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Dessert sampler was perfect -crème brulee, chocolate brownie something or other and a deconstructed apple pie.... WOW! We'll be baaack.... More

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighbourhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
