This place attracts a younger crowd. It's lively and fun like most Irish pubs. It's family owned. Yes, they do have great nachos...in C'town, nachos are sometimes made from locally grown spuds sliced thin and then baked...so, kind of like potato chips-then smothered with the usual nacho stuff. Yes, it's junk food, but it's the best of its kind on... More

My husband and I wanted to get a bite and listen to some music and we lucked out chosing the "Olde Dublin Pub"! The band "Watertown" was playing and they played a nice mix of music and sounded great. The female vocalist has a great voice! The food we ordered was great and the pub has an all around friendly... More

I very seldom write reviews on anything unless the food is spectacular and this is certainly one of those times. I was in Charlottetown last week and someone recommended the Claddaugh in the Old Dublin Pub as the best place to eat oysters. Thankfully, I took the recommendation and proceeded to have one of the best meals of my life.... More

We had a pint or two and shared 3 dozen Island Blue Mussels @ the Olde Dublin Pub in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Plenty of mussels for both of us: 30 for $11.99 CAD. Our waitress Jamey was helpful picking our our 2 local drafts. Talked to a local couple next to us, they were going to a wedding. Another... More

We really enjoyed our night. Tuesday night special was steak medallions wrapped in bacon. My husband ordered this dish. The meat was so tender it was like cutting butter. It was cooked perfectly, rare for him. I ordered a fish burger sandwich. So good. Nice crisp slaw on the burger and lots of tartar. Couldn't have been any better, perfection!... More

Despite being busy our party of 6 was seated very quickly and service was excellent. $1 oysters were the draw but all of our meals were good.. bacon wrapped scallops, seafood in a baked potato, seafood in a cheese sauce, a very large chicken stir fry and a very large island burger. The one negative is the limited washroom space... More

We went here mainly to try their $1.00 oyster special. And the oysters were delicious. One of our friends had their poutine, another the mussels and another the fish tacos. All were good. I had the chicken pie and found it a bit disappointing. The gravy was thin and brown and not as rich as most chicken pies. Then I... More

My wife and I visited the the Olde Dublin Pub earlier this month whilst on a coach tour of New England and the Canadian Maritimes on our stop in Charlottetown, PIE. We visited the Pub one evening and I ordered a medium-rare steak. It wasn''t medium rare at the table, more medium-to-well done (never mind). My wife ordered a burger... More
