A hole in the wall, in a disgusting plaza, but that is not the owners fault! Dank and dirty innside. The service was fantastic, the barmaid funny and friendly, probably an original!! We placed our orders for beer and wings...my two friends were laughing hysterically as there were four cockroaches climbing up the wall behind my head. I did not... More

Kevin the chef here makes the best homemade soup around. The full breakfast on a Sunday morning cooked to perfection makes a wonderful treat. And the pints are served really cool. Affectionately known as "The Wee Tara" drop in for the craic, a pint, a meal or all of the above.............you won't be disappointed.

Suggest to go there by the younger sister for breakfast. Came across a traditional Irish breakfast with scones, pudding (black & white), sausage, grill tomato slice and eggs of course. Freshly cooked and it was the first time I try black pudding – it was good. The atmosphere was terrific as it was my first time there, greet as if... More

I have only eaten the wings and they are the best winhs i have had across the city. A few friends from work go every 6 weeks or so and we are very happy with the service and the atmosphere is very comfy. They only need to repad the seats as you cannot stay seated for very long.

My local neighbourhood pub and a favorite place on a hard day to drop in for a pint. Best chicken wings ever, including home cut fries! Goes great with a pint of Lager and Lime.

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
