I visited Lee for the first time 4 years ago and was blown away. Have been a regular customer ever since. Usually when my husband and I go, we don't order off the menu, we ask the waiter to surprise us with chef's recommendations and wine pairings. The only thing we specifically request is the Singapore Slaw which is unreal.... More

Its another fusion type of restaurant but the food is good, we have 4 main dishes, lamb is good, i like the sauce. Curry chicken is ok but I prefer the more traditional style of curry. Fish is very good but the portion is way too small, especially if you take the price into consideration. Lobster is ok but not... More

Great food; service was horrible - rushed through the entire meal. When the table is being cleared while you are still eating, never a great sign. Guess they are thinking about the next guests coming instead of focusing on the ones already sitting at the table. Food was wonderful.

Always go to Lee ( every 2 months) and always get the same things - spring rolls (amazing!) slaw (killer good) black cod (outstanding) braised beef (yummy) Last time we were there we went for new items and weren't impressed - Thai squid calamari (not great, the spice on it was off putting) striploin ( again not great - tasted... A group of 5 friends and I visited Lee on Saturday night of the Grey Cup weekend. We were lucky enough to get a last minute reservation for a 9pm seating. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed with a stylish crowd, 25+. The food and service with excellent. Try the coleslaw, cheeseburger spring rolls, and anything with fish. Alcohol... More

Very good and nice restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto. Chic place to either have a yummy drink or enjoy fine dining. You must have the slaw salad and cheeseburger spring rolls, they are absolutely delicious! They also do take-out. Lee restaurant is also at the Pearson airport (terminal 1), however, the food isn't as great. Better enjoy the... More

We were recently in Toronto and local friends suggested we meet for dinner at Lee's! I checked TA and was pleased to see that it is currently #15 which is very impressive considering the number of high-quality restaurants in Toronto! Let me begin by saying that we love Asian fusion--we lived in Asia for three years and Seattle for 10... More

A nice place to sit and the service has always been nice. I have been here a couple of times and have thoroughly enjoyed both visits. Yes there signature slaw is really that good and another favourite is the black cod.

My wife took me here for a special birthday dinner. It was unique and different than other restaurants. Very unique dishes to try. We had the slaw which was amazing. 29 different ingredients and they mixed them all together at the table while they explain the dish. We had the octopus, which was delicious. Peking duck was a nice touch... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
