My husband and I love coming here anytime we go to the beaches. That means in the summer and winter too! There's almost always a line up which is nice because there's always an opportunity to pet beautiful dogs or say hello to all the cute little kiddies. The staff are always friendly. On one birthday, after a terrible dinner,... More

Superb ice cream with seasonal variations. St.Patricks Day means Guiness ice cream. Halloween means pumpkin. Plus many solid classics. I prefer the one on Queen East in the Beaches.

Flavour & selection outside of Eds Scoop is a nice bench to sit & enjoy the old part of the city which still has streetcars.

This ice cream shop is has a big selection of ice cream and gelato. While lines can be long it is well worth the visit. Generous porions fill a cup or a cone. They'll let you try a few so you can choose what pleases you best. Only drawback is a limited amount of seating. Being as successful as it... More

The ice cream and gelato at Ed's are super. Great quality, friendly service and lots of samples so you can choose the perfect scoop. Worth a trip to Leslieville!

You might not get your Instagram moment with tones of fluff, thrown on the ice cream, but you will get delicious ice cream (hello, burnt marshmallow) from a small local business.

It's a friendly, clean little ice cream shop. The ice cream tastes great, and it's nice to get a scoop and sit outside to eat in the summer.

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
