Pretty good stuff. Very busy on a sunny holiday day. A long line almost out the door it was worth it. We had shared to small sugar cones with two small scoops in each which was enough for a snack. Burnt Marshmallow (the best!) and a vanilla bean in one cone, in the other cone, a "cream' ice cream with... More

This quaint, comfortable shop has become a staple. Their pistachio and hazelnut gelatos are creamier and subtler than others that I really like, but at the right price, location, and attitude. I've gone from opportunity visits to regular visits because it is always a great experience.

What a pleasure to feel the mouth experience of real ice cream. The selection of flavours is wide and inventive, many you just don't find anywhere else. In the summer it can be hectic, but the staff is up to it and keeps its sense of humour and friendliness.

Had my son's birthday cake prepared here. It was fabulous and ready exactly when they said that it would be. Not cheap, however, so be prepared to pay for the quality that you receive.

Great choice of flavours both in Gelatos and icecreams. Service is very friendly and if you want to take home a tub, they have pre-prepared ones in the frezeer.

The best ice cream in Toronto - Burnt Marshmallow is extra-ordinaire! The line ups in the summer are long, but they are fun. The staff is fantastick and makes the wait do-able. Plus you get a stamp card for every purchase . This is a special place. Highly recommend it.

In a city filled with ice cream shops, Ed's is rare find. Excellent products across the board. (Ice cream cakes, too.) Also, little extras (first one included), like chocolate or gummy bears, add to the fun. Everything is good, but personally, the sorbets (especially Cassis) are the best option.

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
