Looking for a place to eat with family on a Saturday night in downtown Toronto I solicited suggestions from the hotel concierge, and landed on Little India, on Queen Street. Little India is a not very fancy looking restaurant with tightly spaced tables and conventional Indian décor. I made reservations for three but the place was not particularly full when... More

Planned to go to Brampton for some of the best Indian food in North America, but that didn't work out so we were hoping for at least decent Indian food at Little India. It didn't qualify. First, it's important to note that the smoke from the incense they were burning was very thick. You will smell like incense when you... More

Restaurant is always well staffed with servers that are very attentive and they have a fast efficient kitchen. Menu is just right with many choices for vegetarians and carnivores, with offerings of Pakoras (chicken and vegetarian), Biryani, Rogan Josh and Vindaloos. They offer an lunch buffet or an traditional menu in the evening. Since they are quite popular there may... More

Love this little place on Queen and have been going for years, often ordering delivery. Food is tasty and great quality (have never tried the buffet - only dinner from menu or delivery). Tip - if ordering for delivery, order direct from their website. I had no idea until recently this could be done and had been using services like... More

Stopped in for lunch with family from out of town. We were seated quickly even though the restaurant was busy with its late lunch crowd. The food was delicious. The beef vindaloo not killer hot but very good. The gulab jamun was delicious. Will definitely return next time we are in the neighbourhood.

I had the buffet lunch on a holday day. The restaurant is not large, and of course was quite busy. The food was good, decent quality and very tasty. I was surprised by the lack of grace and manners of many of the customers. Watched one wearing a wool shawl pull it through the rice and one of the vegetarian... More

The good is great as well as their service. So many waiters and waitresses so, you won't be forgotten. I ordered Malai Kofta, it's a vegetarian dish and I loved it. I recommend this restaurant.

Authentic and tasty Indian food in Toronto. There are only a few Indian restaurants in Toronto that cooks amazing Indian food. Visited 5-6 times and good experience every time. Butter chicken and Chicken curry were fantastic. Naan bread was great and super soft as well. Always recommend this place who loves Indian food.
