We ordered from the lunch combo special menu as it was past lunch but not quite dinner..the soup was coldish, from corn husks it seemed with pink uncooked pieces of chicken inside..we asked for hot and sour to be subbed, for an extra charge. It was even worse. The smell alone was repulsive. we left that also. Kung Pao chicken... More

We enjoyed its famous steamed dumplings and hand made thick noodles with seasoned braised beef in soup. It is a popular restaurant with long line ups. Highly recommend.

If you love Soup dumplings than this is the place to go in downtown Toronto . They also have Crab roe soup dumplings which are rare to find downtown. Steamed to perfection. This restaurant does other delicious foods but I keep coming back for their soup dumplings

The location is convenient although parking can be hard to come by. The decor was nice with good ambiance. The menu had good selection, mostly northern Chinese food. The food was delicious and service was excellent. The deep fried tofu was very good but spicy. The Mo Shu Pork was nicely made. Wished there were more wraps to go with... More

After our meal at Lee Restaurant last night, this was quite a different experience. Opposite of the luxurious, high ambience and fusion food of Lee Restaurant, this is down-to-earth stomach satisfying, lip smacking authentic Chinese cuisine. My mum and husband thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Mapo tofu, sautéed stating beans, xiao long bao - yummy.

Asian Legend is a popular chain of Chinese restaurant across the city. As I entered this flagship store, I was welcomed by a poster, telling you that the Prime Minister of Canada visited this restaurant. What an honor. A few of us went on the weekend and we enjoyed the dishes very much. The steam Shanghai dumplings is very good,... More

Our "usual" location, the one on Yonge north of Sheppard, is no more, so we've started frequenting this one, at Leslie and Finch. Going for dinner? Go early because the tables, despite the large seating areas, fill rather early in the evening. Portions are generous; flavours layered. The freshly cooked, crisp green bean dish is a perennial favourite in our... More

My family moved into the nieghbourhood of this restaurant over ten years ago, and it quickly became our go to place for amazing Chinese food. I have been told by friends who are from China and Hong Kong that it is excellent traditional Northern Chinese cuisine. We have tried almost everything on the menu and never been disappointed. Though the... More

For a family celebration we had a party of thirty in the private room at the back. Ten courses were served promptly and professionally. The food was excellent from the Shanghai dumplings to the roast suckling pig and jelly fish. The Peking Duck was excellent and the garlic fried lobster was fabulous. All in all we had a very good... Friends who are Chinese brought me here, and I was very impressed. I plan to return when next in Toronto. The owner and staff were very helpful so I could avoid food with shellfish or pork products. I am Jewish and Traditional, and we are forbidden those two (we are forbidden a lot more, but I am not Orthodox!). The... More
