Had dinner here last week and both had excellent food. As others have said it's not fine dining - and it felt like to place to get a drink as well as a restaurant but the atmosphere and service are hard to beat and the...More

We ate here two nights in a row. Not fine dining but great food and beer. Excellent service friendly and helpful. Recommend smoked duck salad, calamari and beet salad. A really good find that I am happy to highly recommend.

Went after a night at the Phoenix and loved the atmosphere. Great spot, great beer options. I had the wild boar burger, fries are delicious. Everything was great, highly recommend.

We were happily surprised with the friendly atmosphere, the good service, the selection and quality of the food. It seemed crowded when we arrived, but we were seated immediately. The service was excellent and the portions more than we could eat. The prices were reasonable....More

This pub may be too off-the-beaten path for many Toronto visitors but this place is a gem in an interesting & established Toronto neighbourhood (Cabbagetown) - certainly seemed to be a locals favorite. Server was excellent and cuisine simple yet upscale pub fare. Wife and...More

Very much a locals pub, but still welcoming to visitors. Relaxed but efficient and friendly service. Excellent food, with generous portions. we both had fish and chips which were excellent. However desserts were amazing and more than enough. Good value too

Good, upscale pub food. Great selection of local and international beers. Friendly staff, though it's often busy so you may have to wait.

Consistently excellent food. We have been going here for years (even when it was located next door). The chef often adds new twists to the menu but you can never go wrong with the baseball cut steak, calamari, or smoked salmon. Their servings are generous...More

This restaurant is in a nice neighborhood, the time we waited for our meal was worth it. Almost all customers order fish and chips. We decide to buy the fish and chips and the spinach salad with goat cheese both plates were amazing.

The food was really quite good. I had the steak and mushroom pie which came with creamy mashed potatoes and an excellent sauce. My partner had the chicken quesadillas, also good. He had asked for a salad but was given fries instead. The server offered...More
