I can't speak to anything else, but I'm in love with their cupcakes. I've tried many different flavours, and they're so delicious! These cupcakes don't taste gluten-free or vegan, but they are.

This is one of my favourite lunch spots. The salad options are endless! The bbq tofu is also so amazing.

We stopped in for some stew and fresh juices, and this place is still really good. It has a nice selection of salads and mains and pastries, all vegan. Great freshly-squeezed juices. The staff is friendly and helpful, too. Prices are edging into too high though.....

This was my go-to vegan treat place for their bowls, muffins and other treats but it has lost something with Its expansion to three locations and the transition to a more corporate feel. Probably the best example ad emblematic of their decline is their once-mighty muffin is now a 'muffs' a pale imitation of its former self. Tiny and flavourless... More

What a great place in Kensington Market to get a hardy meal.So many choices and hard to choose, but will go back and again and again. Went with a girlfriend for a tour of the market and stumble upon this place and shared the Beluga and Possum salads. We both couldn't finish our salads since the portions we're so generous.... More

Urban Herbivore is overwhelming...in a good way. There are so many choices and the food is so delicious, it makes it difficult to choose! The sandwich/salad combos are fresh and quick and portion sizes are large. The cupcakes are all vegan and delicious too. You really can't make a wrong decision here. Everything is plant-based. You walk away feeling satisfied,... More

Cafe atmosphere is deceiving. You're in for a real food treat! Huge portions, fresh ingredients, delicious experience. Perfect for a weekend brunch. Warning: you will most likely be taking your leftovers home. The portions are very generous.

I was in Toronto for 5 days. Found this place on the happy cow app. Meals were served hot. Tasted fresh and delicious. Generous servings. The cupcakes are delicious. full of flavour and satisfying. Excellent service. Consistent quality. I will travel from Johannesburg to Toronto again just to dine here. We have nothing like this in south Africa.

Urban Herbivore is a vegan soup, salad, and juice restaurant. They offer pre-made salad options, as well as create-your-own. The salads are huge, especially when ordered to eat in. Once you don't finish, they will give you a to-go container. At times service is sporadic. If there is something you want more or less of in your salad, be sure... More

Myself and 2 friends went for lunch and all got salads! They were all delicious. I made a custom bowl and the portions were huge and very satisfying and filled me for lunch and dinner. Very good value at $11. Very chilled atmosphere. It was busy at lunch time and queues nearly out the door. They were understaffed but staff... More
