We ususally do takeaway and this time we decided to dine in after a while in our recent visit to this restaurant. We ordered our usual choices of food. The chilli chicken had way too much sauce and gravy in it. The soup was really good though. But, other than the soup all the other choices we ordered were very... More

It is 34 km from my home, so I don't come to often anymore but when I do...wow, I just love this place. Maybe it is time that I try the location in Markham. First time I came here ( 18 years ago), i had mâchurions chicken, green beans and that was it, i am hook for life. Recently, they... More

I frequented this place 25 years ago. This was one of the first places for Hakka Chicken. I remember there was always a line out the door on a friday to get some. Place had not changed much since those days. The food is still good. There are literally hundreds of restaurants in TO now selling Hakka chicken but its... More

A very old establishment with renovated interior still serves excellent food. Service is very good; take out section is busy as well. Weekday lunch specials are ,price wise , one of the best deals. Easily one of the best Hakka restaurants around. One visit is a must; thereafter you will be sold.

We were in a hurry and called them over the phone and were told pickup 20 minutes. Sure shot hot and ready. The food was tasty and fresh. Delivery time was on dot. Worth visiting or for a take away

Fast food delivery, quality food, quantity enormous and friendly service. Bustling restaurant and busy take out. Recommend the chili chicken, chicken pakora, garlic green beans and Singapore noodles.

We went as a large group, we were seated right away. Service in the beginning was amazing. For the price, and quality of food, it's a must. This place is so delicious, everyone at our table was happy. I attempted to discretely pay the bill for the entire table, I was trying to make it a secret. When I approached... More

If you are from Kolkata and missing eating in Tangra... This is the place for you... Federicks reminds you somewhat of the taste you left behind in Kolkata of Chicken Pakoras and chili chicken ala Hakka Tangra Style.... I will be back for more.

A bit of home, a reminder of the bylanes of Tangra Calcutta. The restaurant has been expanded and renovated. So the long waits are over. Separate take out counter. Very popular for reasonably priced lunch menu. Delicious food though a bit greasy. Hot and spicy Hakka food

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
