We found this restaurant by accident when a nearby place, at which we had a reservation, was closed. Service and food were excellent. I had the saffron seafood risotto. The rice was rich and creamy and the numerous pieces of fish and shellfish were perfectly...More

This will be my go to restaurant when we go to Toronto for a weekend! The service decor and food was spot on. I had the Sardines and Cataplana, while my wife had the seafood risotto. Both had a very generous amount of seafood. If...More

We had an early dinner before the theatre, and found everything as we had remembered - excellent! The décor is the same as it has been for many years, the service impeccable. And the food lovely. We shared the Lisbon tapas platter which was varied...More

For me a good restaurant is where some dishes are excellent but others just so-so. A great restaurant is when all the dishes are excellent, a well as the service. This is a great restaurant. Our server, Fernando was enthusiastic, loved talking about Portugal, and...More

We were recently at Adega on a Friday evening. Food was amazing. For appetizers shrimp bisque (sumptuous) and grilled chaurico sausage (very flavourful with some heat). My partner was able to get a special order of a whole sea bass which she said was one...More

Friendly service and great food is my summary for Adega. Can't believe it lived and dined in Toronto for so long and have never come across this restaurant. Slightly off the beaten path (Yonge/Elm) downtown, this hotel was a wonderful surprise. You know your eating...More

After a lovely welcome at the front where the staff handled our coats, we were seated at a wonderful private table and immediately greeted by possibly the most professional and charming waiter in recent memory. I had chosen the restaurant in part because I had...More

The waiters were gracious, informative and enjoyable. The service was friendly and prompt but intrusive. Food choices were delicious, well prepared and flavorful. Excellent selection of wines. Thank you.

Despite the fact we booked the wrong night, they squeezed us in. Nice wine suggestion by the waiter. We had the beef tenderloin special and the grouper special, both were just excellent. Bustling place, with a brilliant wine selection.

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination

flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
