After a lovely welcome at the front where the staff handled our coats, we were seated at a wonderful private table and immediately greeted by possibly the most professional and charming waiter in recent memory. I had chosen the restaurant in part because I had...More

The waiters were gracious, informative and enjoyable. The service was friendly and prompt but intrusive. Food choices were delicious, well prepared and flavorful. Excellent selection of wines. Thank you.

Despite the fact we booked the wrong night, they squeezed us in. Nice wine suggestion by the waiter. We had the beef tenderloin special and the grouper special, both were just excellent. Bustling place, with a brilliant wine selection.

I visited Adega on October 10th for dinner. I had the carrot ginger soup which was great. I had a great white wine from Portugal that the waiter suggested. It was better than a Pino Grigio. I ended up having the squid which was better...More

Had dinner on a Monday night. Nice ambiance inside; fairly quiet despite a lot of people in the restaurant. Good bread and olive oil when we sat down. Grilled squid appetizer was a large portion with nice smoky taste and drizzled with oil and herbs....More

Service is great, as is the ambience. We had the appetizer platter and it was flavourful. Unfortunately I found the octopus to be a bit tough. I don't eat octopus that often, so don't know if it's the meat itself, or that it's over cooked.

This restaurant was great. The minute you walk in, the decor is warm earth tones and cozy, which combined with the friendly welcoming greetings from the staff, started our first evening in Toronto, on a very positive note. Both of our mains were not from...More

I found this place on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try since we are planning our first visit to Portugal in 2018. The staff was mostly Portuguese (or perhaps Brazilian) and seemed to converse amongst themselves in Portuguese. It is on a quiet...More

Food, service, and atmosphere was at the highest level. My husband said the sardine appetizer was incredible. The wine list is interesting and the main courses were to rave about.

Service is delightful. The decor is airy and classic. The grilled sardines appetizer is simply delicious! And very generous in size. OMG!! Fish stew is unbelievably great! Again, portion is very generous. I can't finish it. Everything about this restaurant is fabulous! I'm so glad...More

Some establishments do fly in their seafood daily and since they cannot get shipments in on Sunday, then the seafood may not be the freshest. I would say that preparation also counts. I never have worried about ordering... More
