Scaramouche has an amazing service and an amazing food. It's true that it is relatively pricey but it is very well worth it. It's definitely a place to go to on special occasions. the restaurant is very nice, it has a good view to downtown Toronto, great ambience and of course a high class level food and service. This is one of our favourite restaurants and certainly one of the best and the most consistent fine dining restaurant in Toronto in my humble opinion. The food is always excellent, along with fantastic service and a sophisticated atmosphere. If the MICHELINE rating system existed in Toronto, then Scaramouche would certainly be considered at least one star or possibly 2... More

I haven't been to Scaramouche in years and recently went while back in town. It was fantastic. The service was amazing. Our wine glasses were instantly filled the moment they became depleted, and our waiter was clever and so attentive. I had the venison and it was divine. This remains in my opinion, one of Toronto's top restaurants.

We were there for lobsterlicious... 2 prix fixe to choose from - we ordered on of each and everything was incredible. The view of the city cannot be overlooked. This is a long standing restaurant in Toronto - you will know why once you visit.

Scaramouche is a mainstay for locals and visitors. A great view of the city tucked away in a high-end residential area (valet parking encouraged). A classic Toronto favorite for consistent, quality food with a small but perfect assortment of menu items. It is a place for foodies, want-to-see and be seen. Generous portions. Great wine list and you cannot leave... More

What a great restaurant! It is off the beaten path and located in a very quite residential area. The service was top notch and the food was excellent. The dinning area is very modern and can easily accommodate a large group.

Great view of the city. Excellent service. And the food was just delicious. Best vegetarian food I've had in a restaurant. I was quite pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian menu which is usually limited for me. And the coconut cake was fantastic

Very much enjoyed my visit. Beautiful view and delicious food. The atmosphere was calm and romantic. My only complaint is location. Difficult to get to from the west end. Traffic everywhere mid-town. Highly recommend!

Description
Scaramouche has long been celebrated by customers and critics for its unwavering commitment to making each dining experience a memorable one. Chef/owner Keith Froggett's sophisticated cuisine is presented simply with care and attention to detail. The service underscores that philosophy: unobtrusive and respectful. The restaurant affords a stunning nighttime vista of the downtown Toronto skyline. These components and more make Scaramouche the singular destination it is. And the reason that the restaurant is consistently ranked as one of the city's best for more than three decades.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
