My husband and I decided to have lunch here yesterday. I would suggest strongly that the management should either re train or overhaul the front of house staff as soon as possible, that's if they care enough to keep their customers. The food was ok, nothing spectacular but perfectly fine and acceptable for lunch, the restaurant was clean, apart from... More

I came in for Early Dine. You get 2 courses for $10.00. I had fish and chips with a side Cesar Salad, Marconi and cheese poppers, and a mini desert. The service was fast and friendly. The Restaurant was very clean. The Cesar Salad was delicious and was in a good size bowl. The Macaroni cheese poppers were disappointing. There... More

I haven't been to the Pickle Barrel in over 25 years so I was looking forward to the experience. If I recall correctly the old menu had a much more Jewish Deli spin to it. Now the menu seems to be more American main stream. Having said that I had a Rueben Sandwich which was excellent. The service was attentive... More

The restaurant has been here a while. It was busy but service was good, prompt and pleasant. I had the classic meatloaf which was fine and tasty. However, my wife had the sesame shrimp bowl. It had five medium size shrimp in a smallish entre sized salad. It was not very good and and was $ 3 more than the... More

Okay it's not actually a secret menu, and you can find it on the regular menu, but most people don't know about it: Molten Lava Cake. 10/10 must try if you're into ice cream and brownies! The way it's made here is quite unique by combining cold vanilla ice cream with hot lava cake base.

I hadn't been to this location for a while and was pleased to see it has been completely redone.I had always come for their deli sandwiches and looked forward to having them again. I found the menu really expanded it it was hard to find the deli section, which was strange given the restaurant's history. The good news is they... More

We stopped in on Friday night for dinner. The menu had a vast array of options. We both chose the Fish and Chips as our main dish. I had the Beef and Barley soup and my wife had the Butternut Squash soup. Everything was delicious, nicely presented and followed up with great service. If you haven't been there before, it... More

In fairness to this restaurant I am writing a review for the one located at Promenade Mall and not this location. Worst dining experience ever. Came with 7 guys for an enjoyable dinner and got exactly the opposite.. Waiter served appetizers but forgot to bring cutlery to table . By the time he brought it appetizers were cold. Main dishes... I would give this place a 10/10, excellent atmosphere for people looking to have a good quality food, and fresh food at the same time. Perfect spot to hold parties, reunions etc.

My friend had a veggie burger, which she always enjoys. I had a pastrami sandwich for the first time. You are given the choice of 'lean' or 'medium'. I chose medium and it was delicious, not fatty at all. Despite the busy-ness of the lunch hour, our server was able to bring our food while it was still pretty warm.... More
